So Scoot McNairy may not actually be a bomb, but likely the one with the "signal jammer" that makes Superman lose control?

I just had to open dat damn (possible) spoiler, didn't I? FFS.

Yeah, I unfortunately came across it elsewhere thinking the link was just going to confirm him as Jimmy Olsen. Wish I hadn't looked in the event that it turns out to be accurate. But I have to remember to also take everything with a grain of salt.

No, it's the aftermath of what happens in Washington D.C. at the hearing. The only thing you've seen from the trailers is Lois looking very surprised/in awe and some small chaos. There is A LOT of chaos and carnage in this aftermath........

That's going to be an awesome scene... can't wait!

It's possible, but it wouldn't surprise me to have Scoot playing a character who may have lost a loved one and has nothing to lose by turning himself into a bomb to try and kill the person (Superman) responsible for killing his loved one.

Question for those who freak out about spoilers...do you guys ever watch a movie more than once? Just curious. Personally, spoilers don't bother me.

Of course people do but some people prefer to watch a film for the first time without knowing much or anything at all. Discovering moments in a movie is part of the experience.

I love going into movies and being surprised. I try to avoid as many spoilers as possible.

That's not a good argument for spoilers.

Spoilers are a personal thing for people. For me, I love them. I'm less interested in surprises and twists and more interested in their execution. If the complete, final script for BvS leaked, I would download and read it in an instant, and still go see the film, in Imax, on opening night, and if the execution and acting and all that are good, I will still enjoy it.

I read all 5 leaked scripts for season 8 of Doctor Who, and I still quite enjoyed the episodes. Because how I imagined their execution and how they were actually executed were different, and it was really cool to me to see that.

However, others don't like spoilers because they love not knowing what's gonna happen next. There's nothing wrong with that. I get mad at those who hate spoilers getting mad at people who want them, but I also get mad at the reverse.

Let those who hate spoilers avoid them, and those of us who love them can still enjoy them.

It'd be cool if Scoot were that human bomb -- but Superman keeps it from going off in a high-tension, small-scale scene of heat vision being used intricately. The film will have a high enough body/explosion count as it is, and you'd be making it so that Supes doesn't fail this guy completely. Cool rumor.

I've found that over the past few years since I've been staying as spoiler free as possible, I've been enjoying my time at the theater much more.

I admit back in TDK and TDKR days I used to watch every single nugget of footage and read every spoiler I could and in the end I realized that for me, it was ruining the overall experience. I went into Episode VII 100% spoiler-free and it was one of the best cinematic experiences of my recent life.

I will stay spoiler-free 4-LIFE!!! ;)

SR makes **** up like everyone else. There may be something to this, but grain of salt. I remember when they reported Lex was going to be a Latino self made billionaire thug and that Denzel Washington was playing John Stewart. Shameless click bait was shameless.

it depends on the movie. superman and batman are not my favorite character so spoilers will bother me but not that much. if it someone like the flash or spider-man(my favorite comic book superheros ) i would be livid

I like to go into a film knowing as little as possible....something I tried to do on Force Awakens until someone posts spoilers on the Henry Cavill FB page. When I rematch a movie it' me trying to relive that moment...and seeing other people's reactions to major plot points....before Force Awakens I did the marathon at AMC theaters and there was a row behind me of women who never saw any of the Star Wars movies so it was a bit awesome experiencing ESB's major spoiler with them.

Watching a movie more than once is quite different than reading spoilers and then watching a movie for the first time. Not even close to being the same thing.

I watch many many movies multiple times.....and I like for the first time to be as spoiler free as possible.

If I love a movie, I'll see it in the cinema as many times as I possibly can.

Well, as spoilers start to arrive I should leave this thread. See ya guys after the premiere!!!!

Sure, but there's nothing quite like the first or second time -- at least for me. Once I become accustomed to something, the thrill factor is reduced to some extent. For instance, if I were to tell you a joke, specifically one that you never heard before, you might laugh at loud. Would you find it just as funny, however, if you kept hearing it over and over?

I do. But it's never the same. There's something very special about not knowing where the movie will take you. To go to my first viewing knowing everything is ruining the opportunity of experiencing that very special moment. There's absolutely no way that watching a movie knwoing what's going to happen is more enjoyable than otherwise. At least, not for me.

Yeah, at least you have that one time where you will be surprised. That's priceless.

Yeah I'd rather not see a whole bunch of spoilers before my first viewing either. And I love seeing a movie multiple times if it's something I enjoyed. That's a Totally different feeling seeing spoilers before the first viewing. I don't like coming to the theater with my own conclusions ready. It sucks even more when I don't like those conclusions and they are confirmed. For example, I know it's been talked about to death but I probably would have rather not seen doomsday yet. That would have been an awesome surprise in the theater for the first time. But now that I have, I created in my mind that there's still a surprise that I don't know what they're doing with him. It's kind of how I felt going into seeing Avengers knowing Tony was going to be caught by the Hulk. Would have been better if I never saw it in the trailer.

Did you really just compare a first viewing of a movie to a second viewing? Does the difference really need to be explained?
