Then again, it was never stated that
Alfred has a no killing rule, as well. :woot:

Yeah I always wonder how Bruce feels about Alfred killing, I wonder if they've ever discussed it in the comics? I'm sure he will be okay with it in this movie though. I mean, Batfleck ain't the most moral-driven guy by the looks of it.

Well Alfred did indirectly kill Bruce Wayne's parents, so you never know what he might do.

Well, though he usually does have some sort of a military background, I don't recall Alfred killing anyone outside of the "Earth One" iteration (which I do hate, by the way). Perhaps they'll take inspiration from there with this and actually make Alfred kill, making Irons' Alfred a mix of classic one and "Earth One" one. We do know he'll have the dry wit of classic Alfred.

I'd like that. This Alfred needs to be stern as well at witty.

I'm personally not crazy about it, but I'll survive if it's indeed the case.

It makes sense for this Alfred to be stern. Look at the position he is in, like Jeremy said at comic con he is just trying to keep him safe and "grow up a little". :woot:

That bit about Alfred
controlling the batwing makes me 99% sure that I discovered the use of the tech-cowl. And if it can be remotely controlled by Alfred, it can by anyone who hacks its systems, so the batwing shooting those goons is most probably not Alfred's nor Batman's work.

Hmm, I initially took that to mean that
Alfred is aboard the Batwing. I hadn't even considered the possibility of him piloting it via remote connection. Nice theory.

True. I see it as justified within the story, it's just not something I ever wanted to see when it comes to the character, but as I said, I'll survive. And I guess it's still better than having Batman kill.

Oooooooh do you mean you don't want Alfred to kill??

Yeah I'm full of neat theories when I don't sleep for two days. :o

For some reason that's the only way how I took it. I have a hard time
imagining him aboard the batwing. But everything's possible.

By the way, I'm starting to hallucinate... this is not good.

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. A bit of communication breakdown happened it would seem. :woot:

LOL I thought you were just talking about him being a stern old prick. Na I have to agree with you I'd prefer Alfred to not kill as well.

Saw Faraci saying on Twitter that WB is nervous about BvS and some people (not all) are saying it's bad. I don't know how much he knows or doesn't know, but I also remember he was the guy who said there was "bad buzz" about Daredevil, so it's probably nothing to get worried about.

Do we have any idea when the new trailer is coming out?

Maybe you're tapping into latent precognitive abilities. Keep at it, then clear your thoughts and tell us when the trailer's dropping.

Focus now.. focus.

LOL, indeed.

Oh yeah, just had to say this. I love clever little Easter eggs, but I hope to God that WB doesn't shoehorn the number 52 into the DC film series every chance they get like the CW shows do (I think Supergirl on CBS does this as well but it's been a while since I've watched it). It's just too much. It's like EVERY single time they have an opportunity to pick a number, they use 52.

"We've got 52 minutes to find all 52 interdimensional rifts! The next one is at 52 52nd Street, near the CCPD's 52nd precinct. If we don't get there in time, 52 people are going to die!"

:funny: yeah it is insane how many times the CWverse is shoving the number New 52 down our throats, subtlety is not their strong suit.

I have honestly never noticed that, those kinds of things don't bother me tbh

It's getting to Gotham-level bad (not the shows themselves, just the on-the-nose references to 52).

#NotMyAlfred

#ButlerOfMurder

:hehe: Superman has neck snaps as specialty. Alfred could have shotgun killings.

Nah, I don't mind him being a stern old prick, as long as it's not humorless and boring "Earth One" version in it's full.

I see.... Kate Beckinsale in a purple silk gown... and next to her... a full cask of Jameson....

Oh, wait, it's just my usual daydreaming.
