The more I see the shot of Batman blocking Superman's punch followed by Supes face, the more I keep hearing "He Needs Some Milk!" In my head.

To back up from the Bale vs Affleck bickering, where were you guys seeing the Batwing blowing anyone up?

The teaser trailer clearly shows the Batwing blowing up guys in trucks with guns and RPGs. It seems to be the same place as the intro scenes for this trailer.

this is not the only commenting against bale that has been dramatically overdone to slam his efforts. whatever guys, i'm drinking my not your father's ginger ale and you aint's stopping me. :o

Lol, any good? I've had the root beer but haven't tried the ginger ale yet.

Ah, gotcha. You're sleuthing it.

I personally think Adam West was the best Batman when it came to martial arts... go on... torture me... flame me... sick the dogs on me...

For as much love the Nolan trilogy gets, criticisms concerning the BaleBat have been there since the beginning. It ain't all about Batffleck.

It wouldn't do any good since you'd have that Bat-Anti-Dog-Repellent.

The TDKT was amazing for what it was: grounded in realism. This new DCEU contains superbeings and I expect Batman to have superhuman characteristics to play along with these superbeings. It's not fair to compare Nolans batman vs Snyders batman because the rules which they were created from are completely different. Both versions seem to be outstanding for their respective franchises.

Although I will say the fight choreography in the nolanverse was at times quite comical. But hey- we all ate it up at the time. :hehe:

People forget Nolan did a realistic take of Batman world. DCEU is grounded but not realistic.

Almost every character in DCEU would kick Nolanverse versions *** because they are more comic booky.

Seriously? Are we going to be buttsore just because Batffleck looks like a more brutal and seasoned fighter than Bale's version?
It's more about the constant comparisons to Nolan's movies.

I think all these "Beastfleck would wipe the floor with Baleman and Hardy's Bane" talks have been discussed as much as that Hitfix report today. :o

Nobody is saying he sucked.
Just that he wouldn't stand a chance against this batman in a fight.

It's really not that hard to understand.
Try a little harder.

THIS!

I'd say Batfleck wins for the same reason Roger Moore's Bond beats the others and that's being more of a comic book fantasy character. I imagine Bale's Batman would be just too much of a realistic take to battle someone who can stand toe to toe with Superman. Which is why we all know the ultimate victor between all on-screen Batmen would be Adam West. :woot:

It has nothing to do with Bale's efforts as an actor, but everything to do with Nolan's focus and style. Snyder/Terrio are emphasizing Batman's rage and ferocity. Nolan emphasized the silent terror of a Batman trained by assassins. In that context, Nolan's Batman needed to be leaner, unseen, stealthy. Snyder's Batman is upfront and personal, brutal, intent on punishing, not simply incapacitating. The silent bat gives way to the ferocious bat-man.

If you read the Dr. Pepper comic, you would have seen that Snyder's Batman used to be much like Nolan's in his youth: rarely seen, quickly and efficiently incapacitating criminals. He's hardened over time, instilling fear not with the silent boogeyman, but with the brutal and ferocious predator. And the Black Zero Event sent him over the edge.

And so based on this, in a fistfight, Snyder's Batman would win. It's not a knock against Bale or Nolan, but simply a bit of gladness that this Batman is a better fighter more reflective of the comics.

i want batman to say....- do not make me beat you unmerciful- and i don't know why but it sounds awesome now!

Absolutely. It's like saying Rambo would kill all the soldiers in Red Thin Line alone. No ****, Sherlock.

On a more serious note, Kilmer's Batman was quite a competent fighter. The way he took out Two-Face's thugs while using gadgets in that opening fight scene in Forever.

put it on pizza yum my peppparrronna

I for one was criticizing Bale's Batman&Bruce Wayne through out the trilogy as well as Nolan's take on the mythology. I do enjoy the trilogy and all but Keaton has always been my favorite live action Batman while Val Kilmer was my favorite Bruce Wayne..Until now, Yeah it's still a bit early but I am 99% convinced that Affleck will be new favorite in both roles.
