That's crazy talk! Wonder Woman doesn't look badass, Lois Lane is TOO OLD and is really Lana Lang, Lex is Zuckerberg, Batman is played by a has been, and Superman is getting no sequel! #DChasNOPLAN!

You've ruined my childhood DC. :o

Superman/Cavill is the only one that I'm not hearing anything about. I wonder if a truncated Superman role in this film gave the "negative" reactions. Something tells me Superman may be the character that gets "shortchanged" to have time to give beefy introductions to Batman/Wayne and WW.

However something tells me we're going to see a lot of Clark Kent. That I'm sure of.

I actually find that to be really interesting. Seeing a more Clark Kent heavy story rather than Superman isn't completely bad as it keeps Superman as primarily a character that is used as an "action" device to support the rest of the league (Batman and Wonder Woman).

There were a lot of instances of JL/JLU doing that. Maybe they're borrowing from there.

But Superman should be more than that... I think it's going to be crucial for Snyder and Terrio to figure out and explain why these particular characters make up the Justice League. Why Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman? How do these three define the League, its mandate as well as its membership? Superman can't just be an action piece. He has to be something more.

Except the Metropolis ad showed him talking in a deep commanding voice in public.

yeah, one clip that's not actually in the movie. i did like that though. probably the only moment i liked jesse's lex so far .

i usually like him in other movies, but i'm still waiting for the movie to show me he can be a good lex.

Snap out of it LL!

A girl can't sum up the comments of the entire production? :p

Everyone has seen it, and everyone overreacted. I doubt anything he said is false. The things people are most upset about were things he clearly states are just his opinion.

In terms of Warners being worried, it was just in regards to the Post-Trailer 3 reaction. And no reasonable fan can say the reaction after that trailer wasn't worrying.

However, the trailer yesterday saw a huge shift in sentiment. People who were turned off after trailer 3 got back on board, and some who were never on board to begin with got excited for this film.

At worst, McWeeny's info was just immediately outdated (as WB probably isn't worried anymoe after yesterday's trailer reaction).

And in addition to that, McWeeny said that Affleck was good, and Eisenberg (the factor everyone was worried about, and was the main point of worry) is great. And a few months ago, Collider Frosty (also reliable) said WW is the real star of the movie.

So just calm down. There's nothing to worry about.

After yesterday's trailer and McWeeny's comments on Eisneberg, I've never been more confident in BvS.

Like I mentioned before...If WB was worried about this film...we'd know about it. Think back to the recent FF movie. We knew Fox was worried about this film before we saw it and didn't need anyone to tell us that. People started to distance themselves from the movie. The Producers start to insult the Director in public. The Director insults the producers in public. Fox takes control of the film and demands reshoots. Fox cuts their version of the film. The Director says this film isn't his vision. Cast barely want to talk about the film.

Now does any of that sound like it's going on at WB with regards to BvS? WB gave them a TV special...two(2) Super Bowl spots....tv spot during the NFL play offs and more to come. If WB was worried you'd not have any of that.

Not in these boards, experts say that it attracts the trolls right to here using the slightest bit of doubt of this film. :ninja:

Exactly, everyone involved with this production from the cast themselves to the crew have been saying nothing but praise about this film, that doesn't sound like worry to me.

So, am i the last one to say the TRAILER IS ****ing CRAZY?
I loved it. The batsy scene is brilliant.
41 DAYS!!!

And Clark and Lois in a bath tub look like they're cousins.:o

How do you know that clip isn't in the movie? It looked very much like a clip from the film to me, given that segment begins in medias res, with cast members from the film and a panning shot very different from the Gotham ad.

You know, I would love if this movie focused a bit more on Metropolis Clark as that was an aspect of the character we didn't get to see much in MoS. I hope we see a ton of Clark Kent investigating stories and spending time with Lois. Can't wait for that bathtub scene. :-D

Snyder said the two of them(bats/supes) share the same amount of screentime its just the early parts sets up the batman aspects more and then it evens out. I am wondering what the run time of this movie is gonna be. Last rumor i heard was longer than MOS.

Wikipedia lists the movie as 151 minutes which is 2 hours 31 minutes.

Anyone know when Affleck wraps Live by Night?

I'm curious if he's started his JL workout.

Isn't Wonder Woman a bit too strong against ordinary German soldiers? He should kick them off their feet with a twack?

Yes she is, but depends on whether shes trying to kill them or incapacitate them. I'm guessing if shes hitting them with her shield shes not trying to kill.

Nobody knows how long the movie is. Foreign theater chains often put up bogus numbers.
Maybe it's a rough time but considering the movie around batman & superman yes it can be around a bit longer than regular CBM's.

Anyway, at least we can relish on the thought the run time is longer :oldrazz:

I think there will be a lot of clark in this movie by design. Because, we didn't get to know him in MOS and because they want to show his personal side. I can also see them having clark doing investigating on The Batman. But I think we'll see some good superman stuff (aside from fight scenes): senate, fire, rocket, mexico, flood--with the last 4 being "boy scout" build-up. Those are quite a few scenes.

I understand that the last trailer focused on Batman and showing us the kind of Batman we'll get & how he can fit in this world & how the fight won't be lopsided for supes. But I don't see where Clark/Superman is being shortchanged. He's had equal time in every other trailer/TV spot sans Final trailer. And we even got a few quick shots of scenes in this trailer that adds to the other stuff

So what do we have of clark/superman w/o Batman/Bruce:

Flood
fire
senate
rocket
Mexico
bath tub (don't think Bruce is there :oldrazz: )
Kneel to Lex
What have you done (to Lex) though it might be in previous kneel scene scene
Nobody cares about clark kent taking on the Batman
SLois/Hope scene by window
Ma kent- they don't owe you a thing
SLois- he looks worried w/her hands on his face in final trailer

Isn't Wonder Woman a bit too strong against ordinary German soldiers? He should kick them off their feet with a twack?

She's probably holding back her strength.

Maybe she has a code similar to Superman's 'world of cardboard' speech from JLU.
