EVERYBODY CHILL THE HELL OUT ABOUT SPOILERS.

Please read my spoiler you might find it interesting.

Thats Endgame Joker, a different Superman, etc....not sure this is for the movie. Maybe thats not DCEU's Lex after all.

That's the multiverse toyline.

So we'll have to see the movie but I was slightly worried about Lex going to jail so soon. While that doesn't mean they won't use Lex in the future, it may just mean that the world will already not be able to trust Lex Luthor. I would want the antagonism between Superman and Lex Luthor to keep on going for a while.

I think one of the reasons that makes Lex a great villain is that he's intelligent and a genius and highly unstoppable, which makes Superman vulnerable. Superman and a few others (just Lois to name one) know the truth while the rest of the world brands Lex Luthor a hero.

Superman can't really stop Lex Luthor or expose him. One of the things that makes Luthor awesome is that he manages to gain the citizens of Metropolis' trust for a long time, once he escapes from jail or gets out, he tries to convince the world and Superman that he's a changed man, and runs for president, and tries to frame Superman for a huge crime he did not do...then Luthor evolves and gets worse, and no one can trust him again...

Would Lex really be considered that smart, or that great of a villain, in the end if he just goes to prison by the end of the film?

Looks like baby zodsday to me

I love Nolan's trilogy. My top 2 fav CBMs of all time #1 Batman begins #2 TDK. But I can find humor in some of the fight scenes

For me the Dark Knight is my favourite film of all time, unchallenged.

What if after Lex gives Waller her favor (and if Senator Finch dies), they (Waller/Argus/Lex) frame her for the Doomsday incident while setting it up to look like Finch framed Lex, making him look even more sympathetic.

Depends on what he goes to jail for. Kidnapping a journalist might be all they can stick on him.

Doomsday toy is behind WW toy also stands on much smaller box. She isn't even at his shoulders if you discount the thing they stand on (without consedering perspective)..now add some height for perspective. He'll be big enough. If Gadot is 6 feet with shoes than Doomsday will be 8 feet tall or something.

Guys I honestly think that is Doomsday's final look.

Well, as I just said in the merchandise thread, I would find it interesting and possibly even prefer it if Doomsday retains this less spiked look in BvS, but appears more spiked when he resurrects in subsequent film, which would clearly depict that he has evolved and is even more powerful than he was when he fought Trinity.

I would like to see that jail will barely registered with Lex and it would seem like a small setback to him. Jail and negative public opinion never slowed down Lex before. He knows how to manipulate and make scenarios work to his advantage. Lex could probably easily regain his reputation he has before he is put away

I really think he'll either end up having spikes at end, or will appear in another film with full Doomsday look later on.

It has jesses face sculpt. I doubt its a comic version.

lol at people thinking that doomsday figure is accurate to his size in the movie.

What if after Doomsday is "killed", they wrap his body up in a green (or blue, in the animated movie "Superman: Doomsday" his shorts and boots are blue) containment suit, and store him somewhere.

Like in the ocean?

Like in the ocean?

That is a possibility, they could just megatron his remains and drop them into the Marianna's Trench. But I think storing it in a secure facility would suffice, and make more logical sense.

The Dark Knight easily has the best screenplay of the superhero genre.

But the action scenes undercut the narrative a bit. I prefer the DIRECTION and TONE of Begins, but prefer the intensity of TDK. Rises was interesting, but I consider it to be a fluke on Nolan's part.

I guess if there's one classic superhero movie I'd keep, it'd be Spider-Man 2. That film has such a tonal balance, even though it shifts from melodrama to comedy in an instant.

But TDK will always have a special place in my heart, because it inspired me to become a comic fan.

I knew something was missing from this (large TDK image)

So I read Year One
and got this

Now my life dream is to produce a live action TV Batman show.
The images in my head are the most cinematic, EVEN compared to Dawn of Justice so far.

But TV is too content to be square. Like Bruce Wayne..I'll have to wait..saving up money..hoping to be hired by WB.

But if I can.. [YT]watch?v=BEJFWoAVJz4[/YT]

Personally I only want to see Doomsday on film once. Don't need to see him after BvS.

TDK is a near perfect movie, but I resent the universe that Nolan created. He saw and knew the way the comics world was, but he decided to completely ignore that and ground Batman in reality. I think it was a real mistake. Those movies could be elevated so much by lessening the realism. They were near perfect

I don't mind the realism approach, but sometimes he would ignore traits of characters and wouldn't even try to adapt them to his world, and when he did, at times he would fail utterly, like he did with Bane's pain killers, when he could have just gone with Bane taking steroids to build massive muscle and using a short term strength enhancer like a mixture of natural chemicals like adrenaline and others to boost his performance.

^ I don't think it was the REALISM that hurt it. It was NORMALISING Batman in regards to morals and fighting. Batman should fight fast and brutal, not lumbering and basic. Most of that's probably the heavy costume. Thank goodness for Wilkinson.
