You serious...? Come on...

Look, I don't think he really did anything wrong, and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but why does it matter to you so much that people are using him to vent their anxiety and frustrations?

He's a grown man who puts himself out there knowingly. He can handle it.

Just relax. It's not really a big deal if a few people on a forum direct their anger at this dude. I doubt he'll ever even know. Besides, this IS the guy who said there was a "no joke" policy at WB. If that isn't CLEAR CUT trolling, I don't know what is.

But maybe people shouldn't do this to themselves. Because they do look fairly dumb.

True, I didn't think about Lex's line as being an indication on how the fight potentially turns out.

Still, I can't decide on what's the lesser of two evils between Superman losing to Batman or Superman dying at the end of this film.

If Superman is left dead until the Justice League film, then that screws him out of being an active Founding Member of the group.

There's no point in creating a Justice League if Superman's not an important part of it. And I call it absolute BULLSH#$# in seeing Superman as a founding member if he's just simply an inspiration for the group to form as a result of his death.

Dude calm down. You do realize if this does happen, the Justice League will form in his HONOR? It will be a great way for the world within the DCEU and the actual moviegoers to see him as a hero. He will probably have a triumphant return by the mid or the 3rd act of Justice League. I dont think this is a bad idea.

It's not about execution for me. It's as simple and clear as Black and White.

If Superman dies at the end of this film, only to be resurrected much later in "Justice League", then I'm done with the DCEU.

I'm going to be extremely observant when the first patch of legit spoilers from early screenings come in. Some will probably think that I'm B.S.ing when I say this, but I'm being honest. IF it's revealed early on by a reviewer from an early screening that superman dies and is left dead at the end of this film, then I'm NOT going to go watch this film.

I've worked too hard for money as anyone else and I refuse to give it to a film that I think is garbage for doing that to my favorite superhero. There's no point in having Superman involved in this shared universe if he wasn't actively involved with the formation the Justice League, meaning interacting with its other founding members.

The group being founded as a result of his death and where he's resurrected later on and comes back at the finale of the Justice League film isn't him being a founding member. It's Superman being the leftover bastard of the DCEU.
Do you, brah.

If they can pull off a "Dark Knight Returns/Rises" style ending where Batman and company learns that Superman is alive and well, then I'll take that over anything else.

But if Superman is left dead UNTIL the "Justice League", where the group is already formed without him, then I'm done with the DCEU permanently.

Supes won't die. He'll be in a position where he believes he is going to but WW stops that. That'll be the final piece Bruce needs to be convinced of Clark's intentions.
JL league forming ensues.

The Darkseid propechy is clearly the trigger for the JL not Supeys death.

I'm fine with this so long as he's resurrected in the beginning of JL and then forms the team. He's the leader FFS, he better help set it up from the beginning.

And as for the fight, I want Superman to win but Batman will win because he's more popular. And because they want to prove that "man can beat God" even though Clark is more human than any of them and represents the best of humanity but LOL.

No no no no. You see.

Superman wins the fight(s) against Batman. That's why Lex decides to release/activate Doomsday "If man won't kill god, the devil will do it."

Superman sacrifices himself to saving both Metropolis and Gotham City. If executed right, I would be very satisfied and emotional.

The thing is, he says "Won't", not CAN'T.

That indicates to me that Batman had the opportunity, but he has a change of heart.

Yeah, with all due respect, that's like one of the worst possible outcomes for me.

When Phil Coulson "died" in the first Avengers film, which resulted in motivating most of the members to get their act together, did it really make Phil Coulson feel any more special? No, because despite him being the one that they were "Avenging" (as Phil phrased it), he's not considered as a real founding member of the group.

Being a founding member means actually being there with the group when its created.

Supes won't die. He'll be in a position where he believes he is going to but WW stops that. That'll be the final piece Bruce needs to be convinced of Clark's intentions.

The Darkseid propechy is clearly the trigger for the JL not Supeys death.

I really hope you're right. Plus, you'd think that Warner Bros and Snyder would think that having Wonder Woman debut in a fight where even though she was involved in it, Superman still had to die in order for Doomsday to live, wouldn't make her look that great either.

I don't see him being left dead. Probably, he'lll just think that he's probably going to die. Plan to die, but then make it out alive.

Dude..go look at what people are saying on his twitter. It's ****ed up.
Yeah I know he was the one that said the no joke policy, he is just misinformed and trying to do his job. Just, everyone should cut him some slack.

That's what happens when he ends up looking like a click baiting troll.

He made some bold statements and when BvS opens BIG WW....he will be McWeenied...ha

Oi! You the guy that makes those fan trailers?

If so, I want you to know that I really appreciate your work. If not, then this is embarrassing...

Except that's not treating him bad, picture this Superman is giving it his all against doomsday batman and wonder Woman are down, citizens are panicking while Superman desperately tries to hold the monster back while shielding as many citizens as possible as this happens we see the whole world watching we glimpse other heroes who were hinted at before who are hiding watching his struggle after his sacrifice we see several heroes finally revealing themselves and fighting on in Superman's memory. The final scene is this beautiful funeral showing the whole world mourning, after everyone leaves only Bruce Wayne and Diana are there, we then see Barry, and others there as well all wearing the classic black Superman Wristband.

In justice League Superman's body disappears early on while Bruce and Diana struggle to build the league but they can't function they all fight in Superman's memory but Diana and Bruce aren't Superman. Reveal whatever threat have Superman be revealed alive in the second act though how can be left a mystery give him his own subplot that resolves with him reuniting with the league and bringing the disagreeing heroes together to form the true justice league.

That's not disrespecting Superman that's showing how truly irreplaceable he is something I feel the world needs to learn again. Not only does he inspire the league but he's the heart of it as well. In truth that would probably be making him more important than even the comics ever did he really would be the greatest that inspired nearly everyone else a true icon really.

So herolee I believe you're just sounding absurdly whiny and if this is all it takes for you to be done with DCEU regardless if it's done flawlessly then you were never even a real supporter anyway. If you can love the whole movie but the last five or so minutes can ruin the whole movie, if you will actually let that happen you didn't deserve to enjoy the movie in the first place nor did you deserve to enjoy the DCEU for that matter. No one who let's ten minutes ruin an entire movie for them deserves to enjoy it, if you're that nitpicky and that petty you got the only result you deserved because you clearly weren't a real fan of the movie if a small scene ruined it for you.

Seriously, though. I think it's important to consider the implication of Lex using the word "won't" instead of "can't".

You guys shouldn't be so hasty in assuming that Superman wins this fight. It's entirely possible that Bruce wins and decides to spare Clark.

Still trying to imagine what the final sequence of shots will be that ties this to JL. Other than the Knightmare, there has to be some sort of definitive answer that Darkseid is coming. I wonder if WW tells bruce what he saw is true, or if we actually will see Darkseid. more than the omega symbol.

This X 1000000. i think Bruce spares him!

I seriously doubt that they're going to have Wonder Woman be defeated by Doomsday in her feature film debut. They want to honor her in the most epic way possible.

I think the trinity all last the entire battle, but Supes is the one who ultimately puts the beast down.

If you mean "Adeel of Steel" then yes lol and thanks for appreciating my work. I`m actually working on a BvS supercut trailer now with all the scenes. Hope I can succeed in doing so.

To this day, I don't see how some (and I mean this not as a insult) could see Superman spending most of the "Justice League" film, you know...the film that everyone has been wanting to see in live action format for a VERY LONG TIME, on the side/bench....only to be brought out for the final fight.

Where's the logic behind that? You want to take one of the most marketable and recognizable members of the Justice League and have him off on the side (viewed as dead) where every other Justice League members is getting in on the action....not to mention, wait until very end for Superman to fight?

Okay....

Dude, that's so awesome! You're stuff is SOOOOO good.

So even though Trinity will be facing Doomsday, I'm pretty sure the one doing the bulk of the powerhouse punching will be Superman, while Batman will act as support, and evacuating citizens, and WW being the secondary powerhouse. Now, what I really want to see is, and probably a dream come true for me, is during the Superman and Doomsday one on one, I want to see a battle damaged Superman, complete with torn outfit and cape and messy hair. And it would be perfect if "This is My World" starts playing, with battled damaged, torn outfit Superman gathering up the last of his strength to muster a finishing blow to Doomsday before collapsing from exhaustion.

If this happens, my gawd, all hail DCEU. All hail Snyder. All hail Superman!:bow::bow::bow:

Absolutely. Being a founding member isn't that important. JL is not a corporation. If his death leads to way to form a group of superheroes so be it.

People love sacrifice...and comebacks. :hehe:

Agreed. That just doesn't seem likely, and it would be really ****ing dumb if it were to happen.

It's way too early for a "Death of Superman" arc. I just don't see it happening.

I have seen them too. You are a famous person. :woot:

Superman only has one suit, right?

What the hell is he gonna do if it gets damaged or shredded, or even just tattered? He doesn't have a backup, and I don't see a sewing machine being of much help with alien fabric, ya know?
