Metallo could be a really intense, sympathetic villain. It could really bring emotional depth to the cinematic Superman.

I think McNairy is Metallo, just not yet. He'll be John Corbin, and it'll be an easter egg/set up for the next film.

Just posing a thought experiment with the figures that are on the board at the moment, although I do think Anatoli should either be horribly maimed or killed by Doomsday when he breaks out.

I've just always thought John Korben was a sympathetic character, and I've always preferred villains like that. I also think it would shake up the public's perception of Superman films as formulaic, good vs evil cliches if he has to struggle with a villain who makes him think twice about his own sense of morality.

KG Beast is in no way a sympathetic villain.

That's EXACTLY what I'm hoping. I'm hoping that he supports Superman in this film, but that the destruction at the trial forever damages his body and psyche.

It would be so interesting to see Superman struggle with the consequences of his own actions - whether or not they were his fault- in both a physical and psychological form.

Yes KG is completely unsympathetic and if you want a sympathetic Metallo, then he is not your guy. What would you think about him getting his arm or hand (I would personally go arm) crushed in some way and he gets a robot arm, is arrested and sent of to the Suicide Squad.

What if in the next one Metallo is used, and has a grudge but superman by movie end manages get him on his side and he goes after Luthor (possibly because he was betrayed by him) and Superman has to talk him down. After he does Metallo, having given up his body to become Metallo and now having no purpose, commits suicide, thoughts?

Yeah, I could see something like that happening.

I've considered that as well, yes because the green socks lol

There were whispers circling around saying that he might be KGBeast working under Lex Luthor, according to that magazine some time back.

Scoot was rumored to be
Jimmy not KG, that magazine actually said Callan Mulvey was going to be the Beast.

6 hours later and the BvS runtime news is still trending 3rd place on the front page of Reddit, now that is what I call anticipation and hype for a blockbuster film to the point where simple information like a film's runtime is highly trending on Reddit of all places with over 4500 upvotes, you know the last film that did that was Star Wars 7 itself last year.

The hype is ****ing real for this film.
