Guys can you believe we are 4 weeks away from a film that's got Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in it? I honestly never thought I'd see the day.

I have so much stuff to do in four weeks that it hasn't really hit me. It still seems so far away. That'll definitely change come Monday. I need some certainty!

I hot a trip to a nice cabin the weekend before release for the wife's birthday. Chilling on a hot tub, should be fun :woot:

Although in truth I'd rather be banging Daredevil S2 haha

Do we know for sure that the Black Zero event opens the film? I was thinking that maybe the film will first open with Batman's origins the same way MOS opened with Kal's origins. Then the film would jump forward to Bruce in Metropolis during the Black Zero event showing Bruce saving the girl the same way MOS's second scene was Kal saving the oil rig workers.

We know the Black Zero event doesn't open the film. You can literally hear the beginning of Their War Here (the Black Zero Event scene) at the end of the "The Bat is Dead" scene, which is where Superman confronts Batman for the first time. And we know this "The Bat is Dead" scene doesn't open the film. So I'd say that it most certainly does not open the film.

I'd also say that the Batman fighting scene at the docks doesn't open the film, as it appears that Superman confronts Batman as Batman is leaving the docks (seeing as he's confronted by the docks), which is the Warehouse District.

Fortunately I've got a lot going over the next few weeks. Birthday tonight, cross country road trip next week followed by college friends visiting me that weekend, more college friends the following weekend, Daredevil Season 2 and then boom...BvS arrives. I got a lot to look forward too while I wait to keep me distracted.

The Superman confronts Batman scene doesn't come after the Batman vs thugs fight. In that fight Bats has bullet marks on his suit and in the confrontation scene he doesn't.

Your birthday?

Oh, ok. Thanks. I wonder what he's doing when he's surprised by Superman, though. I really can't wait for this movie. So much we still don't know.

Yeah I've studied the hell out of this movie and I still don't know where some things fit! He was Probs just doing his rounds for the night. I think the Batman vs thugs fight has someone more to do with the plot. At least I hope it is!

I believe they meant $200M - $240M... Amirite??? :hehe:

Haha tracking is always low for these movies. Even Deadline acknowledges that it won't be a shock for BvS to beat out the tracking expectations.

There is no tracking yet. Not until next week. It's explained futher in the box office thread.

Just saw Gods of Egypt and now Im even more glad Elektra didnt get role of Wonder Woman.

Roven confirmed that Black Zero opens the film though last year, in Total Film mag.

Why would you hope that it's true? Chris Terrio is on board. Affleck wouldn't be rewriting what Chris Terrio wrote...

If some of Terrio's script wasnt up to snuff I hope its true Affleck worked on it. Why would I want Affleck to ignore script problems?

I'd think that if Affleck had any real issues with the script to the point where he felt the need to tirelessly work on it in a damn Bat costume, then Terrio probably wouldn't be working on JL.
