Jeez Louise the potential of a superhuman version of Henry Cavill and the Rock duking it out on the streets of Fawcett City puts a massive grin on my face. :woot:

This BANE could be trouble for our new Batman...

7 feet tall - 350 pounds - real world. That equals 7'6" tall and 425 movie pounds !

So JGL just announced on Twitter that he's departing Sandman :/

Probably for the best, that project has been DOA since it was announced. New Line is never going to get it to the point of production.

Should have been something they explored with HBO instead.

Please give me Sandman on HBO, that's the best place for it. One of the greatest comic book series I've ever read,

That's because Snyder can go all out with a stylistic comic book approach. Nolan's visuals were very much grounded and in a way it made it feel REAL. You felt Batman was there, fighting amongst a metropolitan city and fighting against the corrupt institutions we face today.

This is a more comic book accurate approach so we can go for an all out fantastical look. But the issue with this is sometimes it can look video gamey.

Yes agreed.

Trailer view details hidden in an article about Ghostbusters

http://variety.com/2016/digital/news/ghostbusters-trailer-count-youtube-1201723161/

The “Ghostbusters” trailer racked up more than 24 million views across YouTube and Facebook in the 24 hours after it debuted online to mixed reactions, according to data from ListenFirst Media.

“Ghostbusters” topped both “Independence Day: Resurgence” and “The Legend of Tarzan” in opening-day trailer views, with “Resurgence” racking up about 12 million and “Tarzan” topping 8 million views.

The ectoplasm-fighting females were no match for superhero fare, however. “Suicide Squad,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Captain America: Civil War” all outdid the ‘Busters, with “Squad” topping 34 million views in its first 24 hours, “Justice” behind it with 30 million views and “Cap” with 26 million.

Do not underestimate to financial potentials of the Suicide Squad guys, especially if what we heard is true that the film does indeed deliver.

Hell that plus the fact that August is practically empty i wouldn't be surprised if Squad makes $800M - $1.1 Billion, the trailer views and absolute hype for this film have been nothing short of amazing.

Boxoffice.com raised their projections

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Mar 25, 2016 Warner Bros. $159,000,000 $390,000,000

That reminds me, I need to finish watching David Ayer's Fury.

so they somehow think it'll make few more millions OW...

still wonder why they insist on calling their prediction "projection"?

it's not like there's any at least estimated number for them to project~

Still haven't seen it but definitely on my must-watch-soon list.

What I've seen of the film so far is pretty good. I just can't seem to finish it in one sitting.

I wouldn't be surprised if the projections reach 200m before release
