they've been screening for some press but there's an embargo until the 21st I believe.

Eh, no. That won't work here.

No he's not. He rarely has to make tough choices. Writers rarely challenge his moral convictions, instead choosing to giving him Macguffins to win his battles, unlike with other Leaguers, where they had to make tough choices.

Ex: WW vs Maxwell Lord, or Bats vs Number of his enemies.

Not saying that others don't get Macguffins, but not as much as Supes does. So, to say he has unwavering sense of morality is a moot point (again, if he's so good..then why doesn't he give up his Clark Kent persona and be Superman full time?). He could definitely help out a lot more people.

That works with others too. People are inspired by every one of the Leaguers. Superman isn't an exception there.

Heck, one can argue Batman is more of an inspirational figure than Superman..He's human and he's doing all of it for Gotham...devoting his entire life, and he doesn't have Super powers.

When was the last time Kal inspired someone? When he was dead? :oldrazz:

(Speaking of which, I liked the recent stories akin to Superman's original socialistic/people's champions root, where he stood up for the people in Metropolis. Now, that's inspirational!).

Politics works the same way every where my friend :)
Batman can never be the inspirational figure Superman can. Batman uses brutality and violence to protect one city. Superman saves people around the world from natural disasters. Clark is essentially Jesus and Moses rolled into one. See Batman hides in the shadows and is never embraced by the public while Superman delivers speeches and is applauded by the masses. That's what you need to inspire--hope not fear. And he needs his job at the Daily Planet. How else is he going to make make money? ;)
Batman is needed to keep criminals in check. To strike fear in their hearts while Supes gives hope to the regular folks. That's what makes them such a great team. Yin and Yang.

I'm not a huge fan of the newer Superman stories where he's become a little bit of a *****e. I like the classic Supes who stood up for the little guy and was the champion of the working class like you said!

Superman can have really intriguing storylines and ethical dilemmas if they adopt real events which is what Schuster and Siegel intended. Superman was part of the civil rights movement.

Today how would he react to the Syrian immigration crises? How would he reach to ISIS? What about the NSA leaks? Etc.

I'm most curious about the Wonder Woman fight moves.

Also seen in the 3D game at theaters, Wonder Woman seems to have the ability to project energy from her weapons? Also, I hope to see some of that lasso action in the film.
 
I don't believe the justice league really has a leader in the traditional sense, at least most of the time. That said Superman is generally seen as the face and the heart of the league. The physical embodiment of everything the league is supposed to stand for and represent.

Those are just the moves they gave her for Injustice a few years back when it came out. They're just added new skins from BvS.

Hey, I'm happy to be proved wrong, but given that people's replies are pretty much limited to "No, it's real" rather than anything substantive, I still am not 100% convinced it's legit - otherwise DC would have actually posted it themselves (which they didn't). Again, I have no problem being wrong, provided people actually check their facts.

Who knows, guess we'll have to wait for the film to come out.

Man of Steel irregardless of whether we liked it is classified as a divisive film across the board. We need a swing hit like The Force Awakens was to silence the haters and strongly establish the DCEU. Just like Iron Man did back in 2008 to establish the MCU. Marvel films for the most part are still average but they've had about 3 swing hits. We need at least one.

I'm just stating given Snyder's track record, he hasn't been able to deliver a a film loved across the board. I desperately hope that changes here.

While not bad, my problem with the Force Awakens was how safe it was. So while the 93% is great to look at. Many people at least liked the movie.

Its a movie that doesn't have the replay of others with worse % because it didn't take any chances.

Guys iv done a search but was wondering if there is a thread showing comparison pictures of stuff we have seen from the film and how it's very close to the comics?

Press and other media outlets won't be seeing it until the 21st when the folks with the WB emails passes will be also right?
 
Had a dream last night that I watched the Bats V Supes fight, and I cried. I can't imagine watching it in a few weeks time. This feels surreal.
