Almost Human

Really? I think 20 years later.

Course, Ghost in the Shell was written 1989, and the timeline reflects that. Like World War IV happening 2 years from now.

Yeah but GITS: SAC was written much later. And frankly, GITS: SIC looks much more like this show. To me, that show being set in the 2030's is a little more believable than this show in 2048.

this episode had a plot hole you could drive a truck through

the bad guy has 4 clones and he still cause to jail from eyewitness testimony, could have just blamed it on one of them, they're all dead anyway.

I've read your thought several times and can't figure out what you are saying in the bold part.

The reason the clones didn't blame one of them is because they thought of each other as a family. So staying together was more important to them then selling one of them out for freedom.

they're all dead. So all he had to do was say one of his clones did it.

I found the bigger plot hole that the cops knew that he had clones... police testimony is kind of a big deal in court.

Did they mention at all the legality of human cloning?

The Captain briefly mentioned that human cloning was banned.

Doesn't he admit to what he did when the captain is supposedly walking him to freedom?

OK, those were some good effects, hilarious as the outcome was.

When he punched through the wall? I agree. Haha.

Another great episode, I loved it when both Dorian's were being annoying in the police car :woot: I also just realized that Rudy is the one-eyed guy from Pirates of the caribbean.
Also, is anyone else seeing a strong resemblance between Urban and Tom Welling? They could easily play brothers on the screen.

I'm sure they were cut from the same cardboard. :cwink:

he was also in the original British version of "the office", he played the character that Dwight is based on

I thought the central story was good this week, the concept was a neat twist of a "what if?" scenario.

I love the part when the other DRN was trying to arrest a guy and the car rolled into a fire hydrant which flew up and hit a drone that crashed into a MX robot cop and it slammed into a parked car :funny:

I love that the captain is slowly getting pissed at Kennex. Androids have a habit of getting trashed around him, and then there was suddenly a second Dorian in the Precinct. :funny:

Well the bad guys also easily trash the androids.

I wonder if they will go back to the Captain and that DA maybe getting involved.

the British version didn't last long, it only had like 14 episodes

Making it Britain's longest running show to date. :oldrazz:

I get that they can't film in Los Angeles because of costs, but do they seriously expect us to believe that that is Los Angeles?

Why pretend? Just say it's Vancouver.

I'm going to keep this show on my DVR list. It doesn't conflict with anything, but I wish I enjoyed it more. I feel like I should enjoy it more. It's the type of show I normally like, and I like both Ealy and Urban. *shrugs* Not sure why this isn't working for me, but I find it really boring.

That shield thing was cool. But I see it's gonna be one of "those" episodes, focusing on the evils of reality spectators.

I'm of this opinion. Future Vancouver would be fine but hey I' m Canadian. It seems like studios don't like the idea of setting stuff in Canada. Tonight's episode was another great one. Some of the Dorian gags were a bit over the top but great non the less.
