I said it before right now there isnt alot of news on the season 9 so i am overally a wait and see type of guy and hope we get what was good about the start of season 8 and not the crap we got at the end of season 8 for season 9. As for the whole ollie thing, love triangles, etc.... we dont know if they would end up being the sole focus for the season or if it would really just last an episode or two like i said before. Hopefully when comic con panel happens at end of the month we will know more of the direction/focus for the season.

HaHa...yeah I was in the not so excited camp as well.

But I have to say after hearing what is in store for this season I am pretty pumped up about it (especially with that preview from SDCC).

I really didn't get upset when I heard them say they were shooting for season 10 because it seems like they have a definite plan for the show. I don't think it's a LOST kind of plan, but at least it sounds like Clark's journey is plotted out to becoming Superman.

Also from the sounds of it we don't have to worry about the plugged being pulled out of nowhere and them having to wrap it up quickly (although I am sure anything could happen).

I have liked what has been said about the plan for S9. Introduction of alot of the DCU along with Zod and a Kryptonian army to deal with. I also like that it is now being said that Clark is in his final phase/last step to becoming the MOS.

Just to relegate Clark to the backseat--keep the focus on him and I say bring it on!!

I too was in the skeptic camp but after SDCC, I'm pumped. It definitley seems like they're through with the filler BS and ready to put things in motion. Bring on S9 and hell yes, bring on S10

as long as DC is through puting in their 2 cents, then yea, I think they can pull it off

and I'm pretty sure there's nothing more that needs to be fixed, so I'm not worrying. S9 should be an improvement

The news from SDCC sounds really promising, but I was really excited for last season too, and it really let me down. Hopefully this season will live up to it's potential.

I'm sure this will be closed but, oh well...

What I mean is that is that...it just does not feel like the writers know what to do anymore. I feel like I've read the "spoilers" for season nine a million times for other episodes/seasons. They're about to destroy the hell out of the character we know as Zod and each season feels more and more like Clark is the side plot.

I've watched this show since the beginning but I've never legitimately felt like I didn't care if I missed the next season...well, until now at least.

Yea lets just hope for the best and like many of us have said before hopefully they take what was best during episodes 1-12 and keep that up through the whole season and not take the bad things from 13-22, which we dont want to see.

I'm still avoiding spoilers (except for what I saw from the comic-con panel and the hints of the teaser), but what I know so far looks very, very good.

I'm encouraged by Tom's statement his job as a producer is to improve the communication between the front office and the set.



That can only mean good things. I'm glad from what I saw in the comic-con panel video that Tom still seems completely with the show, still excited and enjoying the work after slogging through nine seasons now.

I think that says something about his committment to the show and to his character.

Ya pretty all my fav shows present airing ones and ones that long since ended/were cancel has had some silly changes/mistakes made through their run. No show is ever totally perfect. We just have to hope their is more good then bad and the people in charge see which things work and which things dont.

If he's using IE in Windows, that doesn't come with a spell checker but there are free add-ons you can download to check spelling in IE forms.

I use IE Pro 7, I like it because it checks as you type (others you have to access through a right-click menu) but there are others.

If you use Safari or Firefox, I believe the Windows versions come with spell checking built in which check the spelling as you type.

If you use a Mac, Safari comes with all Mac computers and its built-in spelling checker works like a charm.

I have hopes that this season will start out well. The problem I have is with lack of consistency. The first 11 or so episodes of season 8 was fantastic, but it slowly went downhill from there. If season 9 can keep the same pace as the first 11 episodes of season 8, then I will be happy.

slowly? the show dropped like a rock as soon as the KK arc began. And then stumbled to get back to where they were at the end of the wedding episode.
