I'll usually look at my figures instead of interacting with them, but that's only because they're all clustered together, so I worry that if I remove one from the shelf, the others will all fall down.

I'm usually more concerned with getting everything I may want before they get it before me to notice what they look like.

Am I the only one who gets really annoyed when another collector has grabbed up the last of a figure I want, and then try to keep an eye on them just in case they decide to put it back, so that I can grab it up as quick as possible?

I used to tell the cashiers that I was buying figures for a younger brother, even though I don't even have a brother, for his birthday.

Am I the only one who is more excited about getting a new figure but ends up feeling unfufilled after opening it no matter what the quality of the figure actually is?

No....seriously...why do collectors always use the "birthday" excuse? I've never ever been ashamed of any of my hobbies and have even worked in my toy collecting into my act.

na ur not the only one, people who do that have issues. plus you look like a bigger loser to the person your lying to who can easily tell your lying when you blurt it out. ive never had a cashier or store worker ask me who a fig is for

No buddy..you are ok. I do this every day! Every single day I check them for fall downs...dust, or just to watch their awesomeness!

Well, there can be pretty freaky guys at toy stores....Some just look crazy!!!

Why do we do that?...I think it is to look more...casual? I don't know, but every time im hunting I do not pocket the car keys.....

car keys can go in pockets

you get strange looks if you go around the big tescos with your keys in your hand...they must think you're going to steal something then make a quick get away...

No you are noy. Actually one time I took away a fig from one kid and just toss it on top of the peg....

i hate that so much

and when you see a kid in the street with a fig thats hard to get at that moment you just wanna rip his arm off...
