Am I the only one that isn't ashamed to admit that they still buy action figures?


No....seriously...why do collectors always use the "birthday" excuse? I've never ever been ashamed of any of my hobbies and have even worked in my toy collecting into my act.

i was kinda weirded about going to walmart and people seeing me with toys in my hand for a while,but now i dont give a ****, im 20 and ive got a girl, and ive never really cared what people thought of me, isnt that the skater way anyway

Am I the only one who never pockets their car keys when hunting and keeps them in hand the whole time they're in the store?

i always have something in my hand, usually the keys or my phone

Am I the only one who has seen a fellow collector at a store and has been rather amused to see what another looks like?

and coming from a guy who works in a toy store i see tons
and have me look like this

and all the people i see be either half ******ed, or fat and ugly, really makes me feel weird
i see some of my customers from work at walmart and i try to avoid them less they wanna say something to me or something

It's some ebay ""reseller's"(=scalper's) stock. That they are sitting on till December. It was culled from a forum devoted to toy/collectable scalping. Yes scalpers are organized.

yes I smell my figures.

Yes I always have my keys in hand when fig shopping...until I find a couple figs to hold

I've never been surprised by the look of a fellow collector, but I am helpful to them, if they are looking for somethign I let them know if I saw it at another store....though today this total geeky looking guy came into my video store and rended FFROTSS, Superman: Doomsday, and Spider-man 3

I used to but figs for my Nephew...but now I'm cool with it....one such occasion was when I first wanted to get into SW figs, the SWIII Figs were out and I bought all of the Jedis I could find, about 8 or so. Anyway the cashier said "someone must like Star Wars" and for some reason I just said "He'd better or my Nephew's gonna have a crappy christmas"...don't know why I said it, but I did.

For example all my ML's and Hush batman figs were on my wall at the head of my bed and when doing doggystyle, well the back a girls head looks boring lol so you begin to look around the room...suddenly you begin to think "hey, that is the BEST Harley Quinn figure EVER!"

not quite the same.....but one time I was heading out of town with my Girlfriend and my friend was coming over to stay at my place and take care of my dog, this was a long time ago so I only had a few MLs (ML1-3 and the SMCs)

He's gay, so before I left I put all of my MLs into Gay Positions, Cap and Wolverine kissing, Iron Man bending Spidey over, DD going gown on Namor.....it was funny.

I also sniff my brand new figs... Am I the only one who skipped class early n the morning to buy action figures and then you're walking around with your action figure booty all day 'cause you don't wanna leave them in the car... (In case your car gets stolen, or the heat screws up your figs...)

i've done that before...

2nd time i was with the girl and i was like "hold on..." got out and faced all my figs down then went back to her only to look up a few moments later to find that my 12"er's were still looking at us, but by that timei couldn't stop casue she'd be pissed...so...damn it was freaky strange...
