Do you guys think that they should do another amalgam crossover? Also how did the last one end?

HELL YES.

The last one didn't really "end". They were all one shots.

Oh please, they weren't bad. They were cool what ifs. I have a pic of Dark Claw behind me right now.

Dark Claw was horrible. Let's take wolverine and bats and combine them into one darker more brooding character. The fanboys will love this...

Don't get sucked into such an obvious trap, demand a good story for your money!

Preach it!

None of them were any deeper than a puddle, and the designs weren't interesting either. If the were to do another Crossover between companies I'd like to see the two universes take a what if approach and mix a few characters back and forth.

An example is what they did in the last JLA/Avengers when the universes were unstable and mixing and Cap and Supes kept knowing that something wasn't quite right. For instance, take a few DC characters and put them in the Marvel U and show what they might have caused to change, and vice versa with some Marvel characters.

For instance, if you had the Flashes in the Marvel U, maybe Jay would have fought with Cap in WWII and as a result when Barry became the new flash, and Cap thawed, they may have bonded as Jay helped his old friend ease back into the world. Maybe the two would have wound up the best of friends, and then as a result, Barry (still being around because he wouldn't have died in a crisis) is able to rescue Cap from the gunshot that killed him.

Maybe if Thor was a part of the DCU his power levels would have rivaled Superman's and as a result, the two of them evolve as DC's big two instead of the Bats/Supes/WW big three. Maybe if they were to come at odds, the forces of DC would lack a unified force, and it would be a more divisive universe.

I just think it would be neat to see how a few DC charecters might have effected years of Marvel continuity and vice versa.

i dont know, i kinda enjoyed magneto and the magnetic men or whatever. most of them sucked though.

The only one that sounded halfway interesting was Dr. Strangefate. And that ending up SUCKING.

anyone know if either of the companies actually owns that access guy?

in other words he'll probly never appear again?

yeah these were some of the worst comics ever. I don't remember the title but that one had the punisher and wonder woman team up, that was painful to read. and what the hell was Speed Demon??

Now how in God's name can anyone call these "bad." I mean, they're not in either companies continuity. They're not meant to be serious, and in a lot of ways, just poking fun at both companies' characters. They are what they are. And if you bought them expecting Watchmen and got Howard the Duck, well, pay attention next time. Sheesh.

(Look what you guys did. you got me and Doc Destruction agreeing on something.)

The intial concept is a fun one, but the result is just bad comics. Like, the reveal the Dr. Strangefate is Xavier. That's just...dumb.

Seriously. I thought they were all hysterical fun.

and wow, we DID agree on something. Rock out!

Yeah, I did too. Amalgams I'd like to see:

Captain Beetle (since they're both pushing up daisies)

The New Young Titans

The Really Really New Mighty League
