Gotta agree the level of detail makes for a lot of the summary. But it also helps that Miken is biased and he's got a lot of people that think like him on the issue. I can't believe that chick is just an urban gymnist. That kinda sucks as Pete is the supreme urban gymnist and should have no trouble schooling her if that's all she's got.
Peter has frequently been written down to match his opponents in the past, but I'd have to say that having a gymnast with no powers be able to outmaneuver him takes the cake.

Now about the cartoon. I haven't seen more than three episodes cause I generally have to work but the one's I have seen are pretty much the best Spider-Man cartoons I've ever seen. The level of detail and thought put into the story is just amazing.
Oh, the cartoon is great. Animation, voice acting . . . it's all spot-on. I still get a bit thrown off by Liz's appearance, though.
The thing that I had noticed, though, and what I'm really hoping they tone down in the future is what we used to see so often in the single-Peter days of comics. Peter is always running away from his friends or missing curfew or SOMETHING to be Spider-Man. It gets old after awhile.
Oh, clones, you've got a good point about spoilers and normally I would agree but if you've got the term spoilers in the title you're clicking and reading at your own risk. I think spoiler tags are only necessary in boards that aren't pretty much about spoilers. I never got using them on the bought and thought threads either cause they're intentionally about spoiling and reviewing an issue. Still maybe I'm just crazy on this.
If you're crazy that's makes two of us. I always considered that if a thread was labeled, "Spoilers," then anything spoilery that had to do with that issue/subject was fair game for discussion, no spoiler tags needed.
Miken, as far as you getting people to drop based on your reviews, well, I'm highly doubtful. More likely, they're just giving you some props on something they were going to do anyway. I've picked up TONS of books based on people's recommendations, but have never once dropped one because of it. I mean, that's ******ed. I'll concede that people are buying good stuff that I'm overlooking, but I think I can evaluate them on my own, once I'm pointed in the direction.
I think it depends on if you're talking about someone who is reading the title already or just someone who is looking to get into it. If someone is enjoying what they're reading, then it's likely no amount of bad reviews will cause them to up and drop a title until they see for personally what the commotion is about. If it's a potential buyer, a bunch of bad reviews could dissuade him or her from jumping aboard.
In any case, I think most people will value their own opinions first, even if it doesn't match the majority.
