The Amazing Spider-Man Amazing Spider-Man teaser ideas

Sadly I'm not that creative :(
But I can't wait for other's ideas :D

>>peter slaving over a small silver gadget, then he picks up firing mechanism that is connected to the silver device via a long wire

peter parker voice over; 'there's more to me than powers'

>>peter presses the button

*THWIP!!*

>>camera changes to a front view of the metal device as webbing shots out and covers the screen

*fade to black*

peter parker - 'get ready for the amazing spider-man'

The general idea of the teaser should be to show off the new tone, actors that are playing the revamped characters, and the atmosphere of the film. The trailer for 500 Days of Summer did it well for that film, so the trailer for this film should display how the movie will feel just as well. I love the Spider-Man 3 trailers, but they didn't really give a hint at what we got in the film. The tone of that film was completely opposite of the serious trailers.

Green Banner
-Fade into a view of a NYC street.
- There is a man running through the crowd with jewelry. It is obvious that he stole the jewels and he is on the run. He runs away from the crowd into another street. Our view shows from afar from a normal camera man several feet away.

The robber cuts right and we lose sight of him but we hear him scream. The camera revolves round the current street into the street he ran through and he is hung upside down off a telephone pole.

Mummified from the ankles to the chest and a small web on the robbers mouth.

(orchestral music intensifies)A citizen looks to an object above and sees Spidey swinging away. Cut to aerial shot of Spidey as he kicks into the camera...CUT TO BLACK.

Reminds me a little of the Spider-Man Twin Towers teaser trailer. Similar concept.

They seem to work great for Spidey! It would get the GP pumped like never before. Such a tease but it's great.

*camera is tight in on peter parker pacing his bedroom*

*peter impatiently looks at his watch*

*camera pulls out to reveal the scene is in fact upside down and peter parker is actually pacing the ceiling rather than the floor*

voiceover - 'the wait is almost over'

I seem to remember Pierce Brosnan's first James Bond trailer that had the familiar gun shot point of view and then Pierce walking out saying to the audience "expecting someone else" not sure but I think it was that way.

With Spider-Man it would be similar, just quick cuts of Spidey swinging and he lands on the Daily Bugle rooftop takes his mask off and it's Andrew Garfield saying the same thing.

corny I know but it would be fun for the audience.

*black screen*

*Peter whistling 60's Spider-Man theme song while making adjustments to his web shooter*

*He starts clicking the button in the center of his palm*

*click* *click* *click*

*points it to his face and gives it one more click, web shoots him in the face*

....whistling stops offkey

The Amazing Spider-Man

2012

*various scenes of him swinging and doing acrobatics*

My idea:

Waitress closes up cafe for the night. She's followed by mysterious guy. Turns out to be a mugger.

Chases her in an alley. Waitress back to the wall, nowhere to go. You see her, mugger's back is to us.

Waitress, goes from being terrified to happy, with a smile on her face. Mugger says, "What you so happy about honey, I haven't started yet (insinuating he's about to rape her)"

Waitress: "Him"

Mugger turns fast gets caught by Spider-Man.

Flash of scenes from the film or it just ends there.

Tease me Seymour, tease me.

Although I would prefer some lighthearted teasers, they'll probably go with the typical epic teaser like most movie do.

Ehh...that would make it seem like, for the general audience at least, that the main character isn't Peter Parker, and he is aware that someone else was Spider-Man. It would seem very strange to me.

I think we all need to stick to our day jobs.

*Few shots of Spidey fighting thugs, etc*

Narrated by Peter: It wasn't always like this y'know.

*Cut to shots of nerdy Parker, perhaps getting pushed around in the hall*

Narrated by Peter: It's funny how quickly your life can change in a matter of seconds.

*Shot of Peter being bitten, fades into Spidey swinging towards the camera, fade to black*

I'd like to see a shot-for-shot remake of the original Spidey cartoon intro. But I guess that would be too campy, so it'll never happen.

You can have a shot for shot remake that's a homage to it, but omit the campy and slow pacing... BAsically have the live action shots of Spidey swinging to an upbeat modern version of the theme.

WAY too expensive of course but how freaking cool would it be if they made spidey fight a B list character (shocker/rhino/hydro man etc) specifically for the teaser?

>>shocker robbing a jewellery store

>>spidey takes him out quiping up a storm - 'insert shock puns' blah blah

final scene the camera tracks in a calling card

*courtesy of the amazing spider-man*

>>fade to black

never happen too much money but what a treat that would be :yay:

People might think it's a spoof movie.

going back to spidey v shocker made exclusively for a teaser

spidey - costumed head to toe
shocker - costumed head to toe

they could;
* give this to a different director
* use a second unit camera team
* use stunt people, gymnasts, parkour artist
* use a different effects house (rather than Sony imageworks)

then have garfield voice it in post

it could come out way before the movie and not interfere with the actual movie at all.

well, I guess that would be cool, but seeing a super villain in the trailer that will not appear in the actual movie? That would be just distracting. That trailer would work, but mostly just with some random thugs/robbers
