You know what's wild? less than 30 days till launch and still NO wii footage. I dont own that platform but still, it must need serious work if we still havent seen it, haha

Well those getting the wii, 3ds, and ds versions of the game are missing out on the free roam portion of the game.

We may get a trailer for those systems at E3 but it really doesn't look like Beenox or Activision or whoever is concerned about trying to market those versions of the game. I'm guessing the sales of the game will be highest in the 360/PS3 versions.

I'm sure I'll enjoy the 3DS and DS versions anyway.

I think I'm the only one who still thinks this game looks amazing :/ everyone seems to be complaining about the web swinging, combat, voice, graphics etc. To me, it all still looks effing epic! And the 26th of June can't come sooner. Obviously, I'm a little bummed that you web swing from the sky a lot but i can look past that if it delivers a great gaming experience. (y)

I'm with you Noeld, I think the game looks very good so far.

I'm there with you. I am more impressed with each bit of new footage we're getting and I'm excited to see what else we'll get this coming week.

I agree about the web swinging. The webs don't need to attach to the buildings in every single web swinging moment in the game for me to have a good experience. For the most part, they do attach.

Thanks for sharing these videos, folks!
I probably would've never known about them without this thread. So thanks a lot!
The game looks really good in my opinion. Too bad those guys can't handle the controls yet. But hey, isn't that always the case with a new game?
I remember watching a dude playing SM2 (way back) and he was just tapping the websling button like the sprint button in gta, bumping into every building in the process.
He made the game look like crap just by playing like a fool, but had fun though and in the end that's what gaming is all about.
Just wait for the devs to show of that game. Then you'll really see it's full potential. And if it's still not your game... Hey, just don't buy it.
I avoided Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time because I knew that they wouldn't be worth MY money. Nobody's forcing you. Just don't buy it.

I gotta say though, apart from the missing anchor point system that SM introduced, this game seems like a must buy for me.
This game meets almost all my requests for a SM game. It has:
- A freeroamable Manhattan.
- A fighting system similar to that scene from SM1 where a bunch of thugs rob a money transport car.
- A Spider-Man model that doesn't looks like a human.
- Interaction with the pedestrians.
- A camera that doesn't place you far behind SM like a spectator in a helicopter but instead places you right behind him as if you're actually with him. The webrush even let's you inside his mask.
- Peter's apartment + interaction with it.
- The graphics... man... the graphics.
- The open street battles, mixed with open air battles, mixed with interior battles.
- Diverse vehicles! Not a big issue, but still!

I could go on and on folk's, but you get my drift: I'm getting this game!
One simple thing like "the webs don't always attach to building" is too small, too light to outweigh all the positive things that this game has to offer.
And again: If you don't like it, just don't buy it. Not sure? Just try it (or watch a walkthrough)

Well that's all I have to say on the matter.

I 100% agree with you, man!
Glad someone else is as excited i am for this game!
And yeah, the little bits of footage that we've seen has shown NOOBS playing the game. They're so messy and irritating. Just wait till the devs show this game off and show it's true awesomeness!

I, as well, am super pumped for this game. So close now!!!!

Lol VenomSpawn you didn't master swinging then. I had it down really well. That never happened for me.

I wouldn't say I "mastered" swinging in SM2 but I was pretty good with it. But my point still stands, there were a lot of times were I'd be swinging and the web would get caught in the wrong place and it'd completely stop all of my momentum.

I'm really glad I don't stand alone in this:)

The new footage has me excited. The Web Rush looks like a great addition to navigation alone, and I'm really glad to see that the wall sprint is still in. It looks better than in Web of Shadows, where wall sprinting felt really dorky to me. The webs attaching to the sky is a little annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. I felt like I mastered the SM2 swing system well, and running out of good anchor points was still a problem for me sometimes. One problem with attaching to the sky is I wish the anchor points would at least try to pretend they're near buildings. Web of Shadows did that well, where even the sky anchor points were usually near actual objects. At one point in the aerial gameplay video there's actually a building to Spidey's right that's available as an anchor point but the web attaches to the sky to his left. That's annoying.

SM2's swing system is still my favorite, but Web of Shadows had some nice features. My favorite part of the WoS system was how they made the jump button double as a speed boost button, so holding the jump button would give you a boost and then releasing it would have you jump off with more momentum than just letting go of the swing button. I really hope that feature or something like it is in TASM and that the videos from the promo event at Carl's Jr. were by people who didn't know to push the jump button and were just releasing the web swing button.

I too am excited for this game, but will be very disappointed if any heavyweights like Ock Goblin Venom or even Vulture aren't mentioned at the very least.

Uh...why would they be? I could understand if this was an original Beenox game, but it's a movie tie-in. They can't just mention every villain they want to. Especially Goblin, considering it's pretty likely he'll be introduced into the film universe in the 2nd film.

I understand potential confusion in future films, I'd just like to fight at least one less-obscure villain. If not, it won't be a deal breaker, I just personally would like to see more popular villains.

Man that new E3 trailer was awesome if i had the cash i would totally get this game on Day 1

That's a good sensation because.....

If it's not Keaton, then they got a new talent

I voice spiderman... :D

OT. Has anyone noticed at 0:40 of the e3 trailer when spidey back suplexes that rat type guy, how the rat type guy has NO textures?! He looks like a pixel blob!

Oh it is bad VERY VERY bad.

The voice acting is the least of my complaints. In fact drake bell can improve as spidey.

The problem is the writing is horrible, inconsistent and makes no sense. TOO many plot holes, very childish stories, out of personalities characters (peter parker is almost nonexistent, its just spiderman and his teenage friends, like cage, iron fist and nova who were de-aged from the comics)

The show tries to be funny and all the jokes are not. Spidey will stop in the middle of the battle and start talking to us the viewer.

Venom is harry osborn, and symbiote was made from a blood sample taken from Spider-man's butt (i kid you not)

Spider-man has a motocycle that shoots web and drives on building and it is called the Spider-Cycle

Its just horrible horrible horrible. Worst spider-man cartoon ever made. And yes it is worse than MTV spiderman and even spider-man unlimited.
Damn, that sounds AWFUL lol

I'm just a little worried about those quick time buttons... they're probably there because it's a demo though. Am I right?
