Yep, they read them, and that's awesome

I wonder how the map will be like
SM3 has my favorite map so far, the way it's a miniaturized 3D model of the city and the icons it displays

Do you mean like the kind of maps in metroid games? I haven't played SM3 but if they have it like Metroid but with NYC then that would be pretty awesome.

Never played Metroid, played Metroid-Vania (Castlevania using Metroid gameplay), and those were done before the 3D games

They said in that Xbox article that the map will be on your cell phone as GPS. I could see it being less 3D and more just a street style GPS map like what you get on Garmin or something.

This is what I thought. Because you get to choose to either make DIY repairs or get a fresh costume, I was thinking they could incorporate bonus costumes by having like, I dunno, a huge closet full of different costumes to choose from.

Right there with you buddy. As soon as they mentioned the going back to your apartment to make DIY repairs, I figured there would be a toggleable closet menu where you can load/purchase/don new suits and alt skins. That would be epic.

Hopefully they choose one of my questions next time. Its so cool to get a personal response!

I guess one question would be how big the city scale is compared to SM3 or WoS.

I also noticed in a lot of stills that Spidey is perched like in Batman Arkham City and Assasains Creed games; i wonder if spidey can do that anywhere with a press of a button (like a crouch button)and just stay there?

That would be cool. Kind of a random question. :oldrazz:

Four years? Interesting....I would have expected a better and more developed look on the city, but I guess New York is alright shown in the trailers.

But, this was even more interesting to read:

Spider-Man 4: The Video Game would have been developed by Radical

There's been MANY times where I've said I wish Radical worked on a Spidey game. This would've been a great game, imo, even as a tie-in. I would've loved to fight Vulturess :funny:

They probably have been working on gameplay and swinging for the past 4 years, not making the city look good.

I wonder if this game will utilize any familair technologies like DMM, Unreal III or Havok

Wait, it's confirmed Peter's living in the city and out of school in the game or is that speculation?

He's got an apartment in the city, where you can change your costume when it's banged up.

Did anyone notice on the Marvel website questions about the game article, they say the belt was added 'upon the direct request of the filmmakers'. Does this mean we might see it in the films?

The games looking great. Too bad it's not coming out on PC.

Thanks.^

I saw that as well, thought it was an interesting statement.

The game is a sequel so it may be because it's gonna be in the next movie.

Which also means they care about the game, it will be cannon to the movie trilogy. Maybe they'll reference events in the next movie.

I said this before... it may be why Webb, etc decided against a belt for this suit, to evolve the suit into a somewhat more "classic" looking Spider-Man suit.

Also, teh realism.

Maybe Peter wises up after running out of webbing more times times than he cares to count.

This is what I think. Or maybe at the end of TASM.

This is the first thing I thought when I read that quote.

And keeps the different web cartridges. Perhaps developed in the film.

It's confirmed. To fix Spidey's suit, you have to go to Peter's apartment and fix it.

Anyone else think it's interesting that the film makers requested Beenox put a belt on the video game costume? I honestly feel like the suit is going to evolve over the films. And while I'm a huge fan of this new suit...it'd be interesting if they did modifications to make it exactly like the classic suit.

Almost like, they're making the costume go through a natural design progression. The first installment though is to show the general audience this isn't the same Spider-Man. Just spit balling.

Either way, I'm happy with the costume. :D So I'm fortunate. haha

Makes sense I think, as this game takes place after the events of the film. I'd be happy with TASM suit for all of the Garfield movies but little evolutions would be nice to see. Like the belt and different web cartridges as SoNicRaDiATioN posted.

Sam Raimi may not be involved with the reboot, but apparently Bruce Campbell might be, in the form of the video game:

“@gilumt: What did you do today?” Recorded my pivotal role in The Amazing Spider-Man video game. Web-tastic. Out 6/26 http://pic.***********/DxuhdzM2

from Bruce Campbell's twitter

That's interesting.

Hopefully he'll be the "Tell you how to play." guy.
