Ooh..too little too late. another person posted that interview on easter.

I'm curious whether we'll get a DLC or something later on that will let us play some events of the film, like the battle on top of Oscorp and stuff like that. I'm aware of the fact that they can't have it at release since it would spoil the movie big time, but maybe a few months later?

That'd be cool but I doubt it. I'd love to see some co-op missions.

Now that a Resident Evil 6 trailer just came out, maybe a TASM trailer will come out; making my week two times more awesome.

EEL NATS ftw ;)
My kind of cheats

That could be good

"Spider-Man’s mechanical web shooters will play a big role in the game (just like they will in the film). You won’t travel around the city finding random cartridges, but rather have to go back to your apartment and refill when you have run out of them on your belt. This will be the same place where you repair your suit."

Wait... what? :barf:

How is that a bad thing?

Can you still swing if they're empty? If not, you have to practically walk to your apartment.

The preview sounded fantastic. But the webs shooter comment bugs me. Not the idea of having to go to your apartment to refill them but the fact that an earlier preview said that when you run out of web fluid there would be an animation where Spidey would refill his web cartridges.

Contradictory and confusing...

Unless if there's a limited number of them on your belt that the animation shows for and when your out then you have to go to your apartment. Which sound really cool. That would be another really nice detail.

lol

Who knows, I mean it sounds cool, very realistic, and it adds great detail. But if they don't do it right, it's a gonna be a major pain the in ass.

It makes me wonder if they have wall running similar to Ultimate Spider-Man. Because in Ultimate Spider-Man you could get far really quick without webs just bu running across buildings and jumping. It was actually more fun than swinging in my opinion.

It's a neat idea though. It would be kind of neat if you had to be conservative of your web fluid. With all these details I'm not sure if this is more of a Spider-Man game or Spider-Man simulator. :hehe:

Either way, all the ideas in this game sound neat. All I need is an unedited good quality gameplay video showing these things off and I'm sold.

On another note, the part with the female cop sounded interesting. I wonder how good the AI will be. Everything else in this game seems like an improvement over previous games so I wonder how the A.I. will compare to previous efforts.

I don't think so, I'm sure Peter will say something along the lines of "I should head back to my apartment to refill my belt" before you run out. Or maybe you'll run out of cartridges in your belt and still have the ones in your webshooters to get back to your apartment with.

Either way, I doubt you'll have to walk back to your apartment unless you procrastinate and COMPLETELY run out of webbing even after the probable warnings, but that'd be your own fault. :oldrazz:

Man, reading that article made me drooling!

I CAN'T FRIGGIN' WAIT!!

This seriously seems to be totally awesome! Might be one of the biggest surprises this year!

The only thing I have to nitpick about is that, watching those stills, it seems the environment where you battle against Rhino and Iguana looks pretty unimaginative and stale. Would be cooler to battle against, say, Iguana where there are other people around. But I'm also aware that you will fight them several times so it may turn out better.

It could be nicely challenging and motivate more strategy than random stuff, either way could be fun
But after many times, there will be frustration, that is not something to be denied or ignored

There will be wallsprinting, all past free roam games have wallsprinting (though one is not for you to fully control), if they are inspired right they will not ignore that, and will make charged jumping as good as it is in SM2 & SM3, or better, definitely not the half-@$$ed charged jump from WoS

It was confirmed in one of the interviews that you'd be able to wallsprint, I believe.

Now if only they could bring back the web yo-yo.

There is a screenshot of Rhino outside, and another of Rhino and Spidey outside. Maybe there will be battles with people around.

A previous image showed him doing the yo-yo in Oscorp, I hope it's there as a yoyo, not just for stealth take-down

Forgot about webbing being actually infinite
Limited amount of webbing in a web cartridge, limitless web cartridges, and animation of web cartridges changed
