I am looking forward to the game as well. I find it weird that they haven't confirmed whether or not Andrew is doing the voice for the game. It would also be nice if Emma did some voice work for Gwen as well. Both Toby and Kristen did voice work for the other movie games so why not Andrew and Emma? Seems like an easy paycheck to me. Since we are only a few weeks away from the game's release, I gonna have to assume that Andrew and Emma did not provide their voices for the game .

Was going to say this but Web of Shadows was a terrible game even without the awful voice acting.

It was bad enough that at times I played the game on mute.

anyway, I totally agree. Though, I think that Garfield voice-wise comes 2nd and Josh is the best. Still, Andrew is a pretty close 2nd and he looks like the part so there's no question Andrew is overall a better Peter Parker that being said, it's not fair to compare those too because both are just as awesome in different ways

C.D. Barnes was a little too adult-sounding for me. I know he was a college student in the 90's SM but I always pictured Daniel Barnes' voice as being more suited towards an adult Pete.

This. Nothing against Barnes, he's a great Spidey va, but hopefully Beenox went with a much younger sounding Spider-man.

I'm gonna assume you guys like him because you "grew up with him" as Spidey. I can't understand any other reason for liking him in the role. His voice acting is terrible and to me, was one of the worst parts of that show.

No offense, man, but:

CDB was perfect as Spidey in TAS. He brought everything that is true to the character: science/geek knowledge, great sense of humor, emotional and tragical bits and more. Cannot say enough good things about the man. To me he's like John Romita Sr's Spidey, whereas Josh Keaton is Ditko's Spidey (that is, when I read particular SM comics).

They might not announce any more villains. They might want to keep the rest secret. I, for one, would love not to know who those mystery villains are. It would be such an excellent mystery to piece together as I play the game.

Glad to see CDB getting some love/support from that post.

Like RIM so awesomely states, it's your opinion. Mine however differs. For me, CDB is the definitive voice for Spider-Man. Almost on a similar scale to how Batman fans perceive Kevin Konroy.

When I read Spider-Man novels/comic books, I always read them with CDB voice in mind. Maybe it's cause I grew up with him as my Spider-Man, I don't know. Personally, I think the guy does great voice work. Beenox's Edge of Time proves that. The dynamic Keaton and Barnes had was awesome! Definitely my two favorite Spidey voice actors.

However, CDB will always have the throne. Like RIM said later in his post, he just had a nice versatility.
