Does anyone know what the actual jumping mechanism Spider-Man uses will be like? I.e. will it be charged-based like Spider-Man 2 or will there be double jumping?

I asked (or at least I think I did, I don't really understand the concept behind Twitter) Dee on Twitter, but didn't get a response.

I just hope there isn't any double jumping.

Good question. I prefer a charged jump over double jump as well.

I believe Dee Brown said once on Twitter that it's a charged jump like SM2.

6:58 - 7:40 will haunt me for all my days. "Warren, where the blazes are you!?" lol
CDB was epic, still my favorite Spidey voice actor. Alot of the younger sounding voice actors just tend to annoy me. I hate it when he comes off all positive and 'radical' like sonic the hedgehog, or when he sounds all immature and talks like a teenage girl saying 'like... totally, whatever' and inventing words like superhero-ness. That makes him sound like an idiot, not a genius as he's meant to be. The Ultimate spider-man cartoon is really bad with this.
I have to admit, I felt Peter's pain in that scene as well.

Yeah, I believe his exact words were that you can jump higher if you hold down the jump button. He didn't say the words "charged jump" but you can probably draw that conclusion based on what he said.

This makes me happy.:D I used to love just running/jumping across rooftops just as much as webswinging, and WOS took that away with the stupid double jump.

i would prefer it if instead of a regular charged jump where he can only launch himself vertically, he can jump a great distance forward too. Traditionally spider-man can jump a maximum height of 30 ft in the air thanks to his spider-strength and agility. However if he launches himself forward he has enough strength to propel himself nearly double that distance.

No....we got on your case because you took everything so seriously, just as now...

did you not see the grinning green smiley or are you just still trying to make something out of nothing as you've done in the past?

Although, some really just care about having an adult Spider-Man, such as myself. TSSM is great and all, and it's nice that TAS-M will be in high school, but...TAS gave us a very mature Peter Parker which is refreshing, especially now when all we get is a high school Spidey.

....TAS wasn't the first to use a "Very mature" peter parker....the past shows form the 80s and 60s had him in college as well.

Dee Brown is the Director of The Amazing Spider-Man (the game), and co-founder of Beenox.

....TAS is the most relative show that focused on a college-aged Peter.

That's what I am referring to.

Me too, he was great for it :)

NPH was spiderman for a short time ...

:yay:

Sadly it was in one of the worst Spidey shows ever, what a waste of good talent.

I will never understand the amount of hate the MTV series gets, it's miles better than USM and still holds up if you want to watch an episode now and then. The only thing that they were limited by was the fact that it was sort of set in the movie's continuity, so they couldn't use better/more major villains, iirc.

it was better than USM, but not that much. Sure it's not annoying or too kid'ish and get's the basic characteristics right, but I find it just really boring. And I really dislike cgi tv series like Iron-Man armored adventures and this because it just looks so sterile and lacks natural feel.

It's pretty outstanding though that Ultimate Spider-man sometimes has that problem too, but that's just because they don't know what the **** they're doing

It's a lot better than USM imo. Harris was great in it and it had some really great episodes. The only thing really that ever annoyed me about it really was the theme tune

Sorry I didn't know how big the picture was :oldrazz:

Same way The Gotham Knight was done, in the same universe after the movie... could work! And that way we could see some villains that they wouldn't like to put in the movies

I'm with you there, that show is pretty fun

Are we really taking away the MTV series from Raimi's series? It was meant to be in-canon with Raimi's films, or at least the first one, and we're taking it away to show the resemblance of the reboot's Peter? Lol.
