I liked the premiere especially Angela Bassett's character I really want to know more about her.

I enjoyed all the pop culture references: Sabrina, Hogwarts, "drop a house on you"

It was great

The marketing for this season has been spot on so I'm not surprised it got huge ratings.

Not to mention - who could turn down a television show that has Lange, Bates and Bassett as the leading ladies?

As much as I like the mostly female cast, especially the older women, I hope there isn't too much b****y teenage stuff with the younger girls this season. I kinda hate that stuff and I rolled my eyes when I saw the title of the episode. But aside from that I thought it was a pretty good premiere.

I'm really looking forward to Basset's character and all the voodoo and zombie stuff. I also really liked Gabourey Sidibe's character's Human Voodoo Doll power. That seems like a unique idea.

Someone dies in the 3rd episode and I think we can all guess who that'll be.

I'm starting to get the feeling a big theme for this season will be cheating death, so the girl that dies in episode three might not even stay dead.

I'll spoiler it all out incase someone is reading this and hasn't seen the premiere yet.

Fiona wants to cheat death, LaLaurie accidentally did, Laveau forced it on someone, rumor has it that Tate/Kit gets brought back as a Frankenstein monster and the promo pics for episode 2 show [BLACKOUT]Lily Rabe [/BLACKOUT]

Totally more intrigued than anything last year...

I don't know if it can top Haunted House if it keeps up the camp, some works but it's a tad heavy.

I love the female cast, nice offset from the rest of tv/film.

Lange is just amazing, she just eats this show up.

I've never liked witches/magic and **** but this has me really excited.

First ep was great. Will be watching for the duration.

Based on what Murphy said in an interview and what was shown in the promo after the show, I'm guessing it is [blackout]Emma Roberts[/blackout].

Great premiere, I'm definitely intrigued. Although the pacing was definitely a bit abrupt and Kathy Bates was surprisingly stale. Hopefully both improve throughout, but the concept is very interesting, and it seems like they're going in a direction I never could have foreseen. Looking forward to it.

Well, I guess as soon as you introduce a witch who's specialty is bringing the dead back to life, then all bets are off.

I completely skipped the second season due to my DVR playing shenanigans with me, but I decided to watch the season three premiere. I dug it. Really interesting stuff going on. The cast is reaaalllllyyy good. I'm in.

Well with each season being it's own thing, it doesn't matter if you skip a season or two. :)

Don't remind us. I think most people are trying to forget that even exists. :o

Premier was great. Best premier of the fall so far.

The acting is already stellar this season, but some of the writing is god awful. The lines they gave Sarah Paulson were so bad, man. And so much of it was just too "explainy." I'd rather they show/reveal stuff as the season goes on than just dump it all into dialogue in the first episode.

I thought Ep. 1 was okay, but it already has way too much going on IMO. They introduced so many story threads already in the first episode.

I'll obviously stay tuned because I love the show but I hope it improves as it goes and doesn't pull a Season 2. I can't wait to see Kathy Bates tear it up!

that wasn't Denis O'Hare as the caretaker of the house was it?
