Americans, y u no stop being negative about Canada/Canadians?

Canadians have no identity. Some of them think they're French, others think they're British. What the **** are you?! Canadians, that's what. Now get the **** out!

I don't know who your sources are but trust me, there is no way in hell any Canadian considers themselves British. Nothing against England but we are our own country, and it would be no different than saying Americans think they're British. It doesn't make any sense, so does your statement.

As for some considering themselves French/Quebecois, well Quebec is a mainly French province so yeah they would consider themselves French that is just logic. But you also should know that Quebec is the only province or territory who differentiate themselves in that way but in the end of the day they are still Canadian just like the rest of us, they are just passionate about their own culture and history. It is a horrible comparison but how different is it from the Southern states still waving the Rebel flag? They are still American, but they still display this flag as a symbol of their heritage, of course there is also a double meaning to the Rebel flag but we won't go into that discussion.

I know what I am....I AM CANADIAN!

You do know that Canada is both a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy right? Hence why you people go crazy every time Queen Elizabeth II decides to drop by.

I guess I know more about Canada than a Canadian.

I disagree with what he's saying, but the U.S. is not part of the Commonwealth.

I was being facetious, Canadians can't take a joke. Hence, why this thread even exists.

Wow, you know how to use Google like a big boy. Yes you are correct I am very well aware of the political structure of Canada and it's relationship with the Queen of England and the Governor General of Canada (Queen's representative in Canada). But let me reiterate this since you missed it the first time, in no way do we ever say we are or consider ourselves British. It would be as foreign as calling ourselves aliens from the planet Mars. We are Canadian, and that's what we are. We have no problem with our identity. It seems like you are the one with the problem in knowing who we are and you know what, I honestly couldn't care any less and I am fine with that.

If judging a Country's identity is by the mass who support and like a certain person than maybe America should call themselves Bierberica or even Canadian.

If the Queen visits my town, sure I might go to the event to see her but I am not going out of my way to see her, nor would anyone I know. It would be no different than people gathering for any "celebrity" visiting their town. It's something new going on in town, and for some it's a matter of respect and honour. You have to realize outside of Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver most cities (and even some provinces) are relatively small populations especially compared to some cities and states in the US.

Of course not, but it was more pointing out the absurdity in his statement not comparing it to actual terms. That's why I used the aliens from Mars in the second statement.

I usually like jokes that are funny. :cwink::woot:

It wasn't so much a joke as just another way of saying HOW MUCH I HATE CANADIANS!:cmad:

Never got the whole Canadian hate thing. Canada is awesome. They gave us Trailer Park Boys and their girls are cute as all hell.

Plus Feist!

Once again, I've really never seen hatred for Canada.

You sleep with Canadians, but you don't bring them home.

Canada spelled backwards is Adanac and that is Inuit for lame.

The fact that this thread exists is all the more reason why we should be making fun of Canadians.

USA - Canada

USA - Mexico

It's life.

Interesting thing about Quebec, during the last election that separatist party got completely overthrown, went from having about 50 seats in parliament to less than 5.
That's one of the reasons I love this province.

Why are we negative aboot Canada?
