Does anyone here still go to amusement parks and if not then when was the last time you've gone to one?

I went to Six Flags Great Adventure 2 summers ago and only got to ride 2 rollercoasters. The lines were ridiculous. I only got to ride the Superman rollercoaster and Batman rollercoaster. The Superman one sucked. The only amusement park I ever enjoyed was Hershey Park. But it's been so long since I went there. Like almost 7 or 8 years.

When I'm visiting the family in Florida, I try and make it to Disney or Universal.

I went to Fiesta Texas a few years back and the Superman Krypton Coaster was amazing. The coasters overall are great there and we went at opening time and it was great, no lines. :D

heading to Fiesta Texas this Saturday to celebrate someone's birthday

Sweet, San Antonio is my favorite city in the world. Its a big city with a small town feel to it. I felt right at home there.

I've been to Six Flagg's Great America the past two years, mainly because my dad's company rented it out during the time between the regular season and fright fest. $20 to get in, a free lunch and little to no lines all day, pretty damn cool. Hopefully they'll do it again this year, would really like to see that Dark Knight coaster and don't feel like spending the entire day in line waiting to get on.

I think the last time was Six Flags over Georgia when I was like 15.
I'm thinking about going to Disney World.

I haven't been to Great America in years; last time I went there was on my 8th grade class trap, and that was in 1997.

Six Flags Over Georgia is where I usually go once or twice a year. Where I want to go is Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios, but I'm pretty well convinced I'll never get to :csad:

Cedar Point kicks all your amusement park's asses.

Why wouldn't someone go to an amusement park? I mean it's not the type of thing you out grow...But any ways, here smack dab in between Orlando and Tampa I go to the parks a lot. I know like 15 people that work at Disney that get me in all the time, I currently have passes to Busch Gardens and Sea World (they were a graduation gift) and every year in the mail I get a free pass to Universal and Islands of Adventures...I want to get passes to there again.

Thats crazy, i went there on an 8th grade trip in 97 also! Used to live in Florida so. I've been to Disney and Universal. Went to the Wisconsin Dells last summer does that count?

I went to Paramount's Kings Island last year. I love the rides, but it's getting old. Ah well......

ROLLER COASTERS ROCK!!!

Hoping to hit Cedar Point this year, it's been about 7 years or so since I've been.
I want to go to that Marvel Island thing in Florida real bad, though I don't see that being happening anytime soon.

I'm interested in checking out the new Dark Knight rollercoaster.

Every year in September, Toyota hosts "Scion Night" at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (formerly Six Flags Marine World, formerly Marine World Africa USA, formerly Marine World), where anyone who arrives at the park in a Scion gets in for free. If you don't own a Scion and want to get in, you have to present proof that you recently test-drove one. It's great. The lines are a lot shorter (except for the Medusa, which still takes 30-60 minutes to wait for), and there are less little kids running around. There's even a car show with a bunch of modded Scions, scantily clad car models, and free swag. Recently, a local radio station has joined in, so there's even a free concert whenever they manage to drag a musical act over.

I always go in the sumer just to chill with friends

last time was the end of last month to Six Flags :yay:

The last time I went to an amusement park was in '91

Nothing says fun like ******* parents having a temper tantrum over some ride, not getting a stuffed animal from the rigged games, and over priced junk food

Best city in the world??? I have to get out of Texas to truly enjoy myself.

I love Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Apollo's Chariot is my fave.
You raise your arms up at the first drop...It's like having an orgasm...:)
