An R rated DCEU movie possible

Suicide Squad should've been smaller, more grounded and rated R anyway. Can't believe they went with a generic world ending CGI portal in the sky.

It would've been easy to spice up the geopolitics by having Enchantress and Incubus declare Midway City their own sovereign hell - a refuge from whatever's going down in their Hell-of-origin - with the spell being the magical equivalent of our nukes and the Mutually-Assured Destruction thing.

Isn't their first one Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition? It did have a limited theatrical run.

I could definitely go for an R rated Hellblazer movie more along the lines of the Vertigo series.

It got rated R because it's more violent, apparently.

The PG-13 movie’s 2 hour 31 minute runtime will expand further with an R-rated “Ultimate Edition” on home video, featuring even more brutal fight scenes as well as additional hints at future films.

The ratings board posted the news today, saying the “Ultimate Edition” includes more violence than the theatrical cut.

Yeah, even the prison shanking, which I expected to be the most violent part of the film, isn't bad at all. You don't even see the stabbing. It occurs below the camera view. Yet people made it out to be the most violent ****ing thing in a comic book film. Honestly, the ultimate cut really doesn't make that much of a difference. It's just longer and slightly more coherent and fleshes out Clark a teeny bit more but still shows him being bland as hell.
