you know i will, with less then 3 weeks away i think to myself, im gonna miss staying up til 4 to wait for tdk trailer, i will soely miss it but in return i will enjoy the movie.

I agree with you DaRkVeNgeanCe, sure there other movies will come along that I will be crazy hyped for (like Watchmen) but i doubt there will be another movie that will grab me from day one and not let go untill the movie comes out.

Ever since the first IBIHD viral, I was absolutely hooked. And to this day I am probably just as obsessed, if not more, as I was from Day 1.

Agreed, even if(hopefully) Nolan does a third film, I can't think of anything that can be done for that film that can top the hype and anticipation for Batman going up against the Joker and seeing how the Joker is handled for this film.

Yeah its gona sad when it all over. I probally wont be real hyped for any movie in the coming years. Dont get me wrong I wana see Wolverine and Watchmen am I really Hyped for them. No. Maybe I might get hyped but as much as The Dark Knight.

For me 2010 and 2011 is when Ill be getting real hyped forr films again.

2010 Theres Iron Man,Thor,

2011, Spiderman 4, Captain Ameica, Avengers Film, Batman 3 But Im probally after TDK gona be most hyped for Captain America.

Its gona be sad once the film comes out for maybe 2-3 weeks we'll be discussing how Great the film was or Complain about the film.

And then the hype starts again for the sequel to TDK,

I think Aaron Eckhart (from what I've seen and reviews) Is fantastic as harvy dent/ two face.

That alone could get me hyped for a 3rd

I know even before watching TDK that I want a Nolan 3rd film. I want this to go down as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, trilogies in film history!

But the thing is, how do you top the Joker?! You can't. It will be interesting to see what develops next.

I'm purely speculating on this. I have no idea how this movie ends as I have stayed away from spoilers. I did read Nolan say he made this the most complete film possible. So, isn't it possible that Two-Face's story will begin and end with TDK? I'm sort of thinking that way now, based on Nolan's comment.

man- i will miss this crazy hype- and i dont see how another movie could ever match or surpass the hype for the Dark Knight- but i will leave a door open..... because when i first heard ledger was going to be joker i was like meh...but little did i know i would grow to be obsessively excited about Ledger's Joker- so the stars could quite possibly line up again

Seriously though, the experience has been once in a lifetime - so much fun:

• The viral mktg has brought the world of Batman to us and let us get sucked in, actually feeling like citizens of Gotham.
• The thrill and (agony) of chasing and finding TDK merchandise.
• Eagerly checking SSH daily for new updates/threads/pics/video/etc.
• And the upcoming rush of the end of the 3 year wait at 12:01 AM, 7/18/08.

For me being that my favorite thing in the world is BATMAN, I really dont think I will get as hyped for any other movie, maybe for the rest of my life. Even if we get another sequel or down the line another director decides to take a shot at doing Batman on film. I feel like this is the peak for me, Im gonna be 25 soon so it all worked out perfectly to get the best made batman film of all time. I havent been this hyped for a film probably since when I was 5 for 89, so it is a very iconic event for me.
