No ones perfect, except me.bluejake01 said:Organic refers only to the way in which the food is grown, not harvested. Rest assured you are still killing animals when you buy packaged food.
There, I fixed that for ya.Venice said:No one's working the vegan troll angle on these boards, except me.![]()
Last time I checked not all animals eat other animals. The ones that do, eat them for survival, it's instinct. Humans don't need to eat animals to survive, they eat them because that's what we were taught. Which IMO, is wrong. Animals have nervous systems and pain receptors, they can feel pain like humans do. Just because they don't have the "intelligence" to speak for themselves and voice what they are thinking, doesn't mean we have the right to slaughter them.Master Blaster said:Venice, in case you haven't noticed Animals Eat Other Animals! Don't you realize that animals are just as carnivorous as us? Eating the animals that are lower on the food chain than them. Think McFly! Think!![]()

So, let's take an evolutionary look at things.Venice said:Last time I checked not all animals eat other animals. The ones that do, eat them for survival, it's instinct. You are aware that plants can sense "pain" as well, yes? And you are also aware that humans are omnivores, as indicated by their mouth and teeth structure, yes? Humans naturally crave both meat and vegetation, as do many other members of the animal kingdom. If you want to provide scientifc arguments, the one around "instinct" isn't one you ought to pursue.Venice said:Last time I checked not all animals eat other animals. We both know that's not true.kritic said:I eat healthier than you, fatty![]()

Plants have no nerves and no central nervous system, they don't feel pain.jaguarr said:You are aware that plants can sense "pain" as well, yes? I hate repeating myself, go look for yourself in the past pages, there was a huge list of foods with protein...like beans, nuts, tofu etc.kritic said:All you eat is vegetables? That's not healthy at all! Where are you getting protein?
What else do you eat besides vegetables and fruits? As far as I am concerned, it is true.

Plants have no brains, which means they do not have nervous systems, which means they can't feel pain.jaguarr said:
