Has there been anything revealed about "Hulk Smash" yet?

Good news but needs to be in a different forum.

This is for the movie Hulk.

It'll stay here until they have a thread in the Hulk forums that's relevant. Obviously all the Hulk fans are here, and the title will leave no confusion as to what this is about.

As long as it looks better graphically then the DC square heads or the Fantastic Four I'll check it out... If it is just another cheesy series aimed at kids then no thanks.

If it is then so what? Marvel has a plan and it's trying to create awareness for the younger audience who will be the next generation of Marvel fans. Get them interested in the characters on some level when they're young. As they grow up they'll notice they can find the same characters in movies with more mature themes and they'll remember them as the one's they grew up with. So it might not be for you and me to watch if it is geared towards kids...however it will only help us as fans because the more people who like the character will result in more movies, video games, etc...

If Hulk Smash is the pilot, this could be bad (slightly) does this mean that Hulk Smash will be dumbed down from the PG-13 fair of Marvel's other DTVs in order to fit better with a younger audience? Or will the whole show just have a more adult tone? Or will Hulk Smash be PG-13 but the rest of the series, aimed more at children?

As long as it isn't as bad as that Fantastic Four anime-ish crap Marvel pushed out on Cartoon Network this past year. That episode with the Hulk... ugh... he looked like a green Steroid ravaged Mongoloid, didn't talk much better than that either.

Ultimate Avengers style Hulk cartoon: yes.

Fantastic Four style Hulk cartoon: Dah, noooo don li it...

They should make this show enjoyable for both kids and adults, like BTAS and JLU.

Kids prefer the more Mature cartoons anyway. You cant spoon feed stupid as easy in Cartoons as they did when I was a kid.

Oh really? Mature cartoons like Mickey Mouse, Dora, Diego, Spongebob, Pokeman? Those kind of mature cartoons? Some of the most lucrative franchises...ever. There's material for each age bracket out there and there is nothing wrong with Marvel targeting a percentage of their product to the young ones. It doesn't mean you have to watch it. The world doesn't revolve around you as you age. LOL I don't know when you were a kid but those cartoons were the best when I was. All the Bugs Bunny Cartoons, Tom & Jerry, etc...That's not spoon feeding...but it's quality entertainment that's suitable for children with subtle adult humor. Of course now I prefer Family Guy, Ren & Stimpy, etc...

I have always found it baffling that you people complain about cartoons being aimed at children

Who do you think the cartoons you watched as a kid were made for?

Being someone who works in "cartoons", I can say that animation has Not been solely aimed at kids, since the Simpsons became a primetime success. Do you never watch South Park, Family Guy or King of the Hill? America is slowly but surely learning what Japan as been saying for 20+ years, that animation is yet a different medium of story telling, rather than just for entertaining kids.

Yes, this also includes the subject at hand, Superhero cartoons. Look at "Batman animated" That was made for adults, with kids in mind to enjoy as well. There a Many other examples but hopefully you get my point. If you chose not to watch "cartoons" for the sole purpose that you think their just for kids, then you've been missing out on some wonderful adult entertainment, and are in dire need of broadening your horizons.

I'm hoping that this will be a good TV series. With all the new animation that's out there, I hope to see an even more detailed series & I want a series full of the Hulk fighting his most notorious villains. Plus, other villains such as Madman or the Devil Hulk could finally make it in a Hulk cartoon.

I would guess 09.
The channels are most likely waiting to see how well the movie does first.
Then they'll start picking them up.
Just like the first fantastic four movie.
They also need to animate the show first as well.
So 09 is our best bet.
With at lteast a peek at it at the New York show where they have all the tv shows set up.

Guys in the products forum say we wont get Hulk movie figures.

I say thats ludacris.
