Animes that noone gave a chance basically.
Case Closed is the first that comes to mind. Man I miss that show. Such a hit in Japan, but I heard out of the 500 or so episodes Japans gotten ours will stop dubbing at 80 or so. I swear. People just don't know a good show when they see it.:csad:

the concept of age changing and toned down violence isn't appealing i guess? I think that .hack sign was underated though i never watched it while it was on adult swim or anything.

No. Its that all americans appreciate is action and emos in their anime. Noone appreciates a good mystery/suspense thriller anymore. Thoughit seems like Deathnote is picking up here. Theres hope yet.

besides sasuke being emo what other characters are?

.Hack was never on AS.

No, It didn't catch on because every episode is the same.

It was good, the first few eps. But it starts to get stale in my personal opinion, once you see the repetitiveness of the series. There's onnly but soo many cases to solve.

Well, Matlock could be considered repetitive, but lookn at its ratings back in the day. And Law and Order too. I just think most anime fans aren't attracted to a good mystery.:csad:

I saw .hack roots on there, got them confused.

If Case closed had him as an adult I think i would have watched it more. The idea of some kid managing to defeat adults in fights is ludicrous.

He doesn't fight anyone. But when he does knock out a hostlie suspect is due to the power of his hightech shoes.

I haven't seen this show in a while but, the last episode i watched involved them in a mall stopping a robbery. I'm not sure but i think the kids utilized tables to outwit criminals who looked like they weren't amateurs. It makes me mad like who's smarter than a fifth grader.

with the exception of the protagonist none of them should be too smart? I'm actually surprised at how popular this show was in Japan!

Oh yeah! THAT episode was a little crazy. But it was more of a home alone atmosphere, not a direct fight. Yeah, that episode was dumb, but if you're a mystery addict who loves old SherlockHolmes stories, Matlock, Law and Order, and Phoenix Wright like I do, you'll love this.

Well, with the exception of a few characters, the main character Jimmy is the only smart one. Its a really good show if you're into mysteries. Too bad you don't like it.

I assumed all episodes were like that one:o I guess i'll have to watch these after deathnote. I just hope that i won't stop watching the show when L dies. I stopped watching Bleach after Byakuya lost I felt he should have won.:o

I feel you on the Bleach thing sorta.I'm not too mad that he lost, but so far Byakuya has done zilch since after Captain Aizens reveal. Only time you even see him is breifly once afterwards.

Kino's Journey
Boogiepop Phantom
...The Devil Lady?

I just know none of my friends either no about them or have the attention span for em. Especially Kino-that show is amazing!

Various Gundam shows that weren't Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam, or Gundam Seed.

Kino's Journey and Betterman are two great animes that you rarely hear anything about

I liked Case Closed, it's like the animated Matlock...with a teen turned kid.

Code Lyoko.......Uh!!, wait..what?:oldrazz:

1.(JoJo Bizarre Adventure) because the villain Lord Dio was just a bad ass and I still don't know why nobody picked this show up....
2.(Shadow Skills the anime series)the ova's were lame but the series was good.
3.(Tekkaman Starknight)this show was picked up years ago and called Technoman when I was a kid and they never showed the second season.

You should try watching this one anime called Elfin Lied. If you have Time Warner Cable (Direct TV) then it should be on Cutting Edge On Demand
