Uhm, no. It's not really lying as trying to come off as more knowledgable than you really are. Also, you have no idea of the quality of either Marvel: The End or the IG Saga, so that would be in a sense lying.

Yeah we had a Poll on which one of the 4 was the best, I think SS and Nova won out.

For me, I've been getting all 4 of them and I've been pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I was worried with Marvel putting most of anything cosmic on the backburner but they've redeemed themselves with these. For story, I go for Surfer. Action? Well that's Nova hands down, even the suit is cool.

I'm still mostly wondering what Quasar's role is going to be. I read the preview pages for Nova where he appears. Like always, he utterly rocks (and it's great to see him not being the rookie), but that also makes him great shock-fodder.

I'm liking the Ronan mini better than the others. Nova gets the second spot, I'm a NW fan too but never liked Nova enough to get into his solo series. Super Skrull comes in at third, the latest issue has him clearly planting his feet as a villain but still doing what he's doing to save his kid; totally badass moment. Silver Surfer comes in last but I've never been fond of ol' Norrin, the art especially makes this even harder for me to like it. Annhilation as whole seems really cool and WAY overdue for Marvel. I mean, the Adam Strange mini from DC kicked serious ass and this is just a guy with a laser gun and a rocket pack (and not even that in the begining!). Why can't Marvel do the same with all of these notable cosmic characters they have?

I know I'm gonna get hated for this but I DON'T want Thanos (nor Adam Warlock) being the saviors/major players of this event. I know, I know; Thanos is a badass, he's one of the cosmic masterminds, blah, blah, blah. That's precisely why I don't want him to be the big dog in this (for either side), let other people have a chance at the spotlight or prove that it isn't always one being who determines the outcome but a group of characters (and, no, needing people to pull off YOUR plan doesn't count ). I was totally surprised with Anihilus as the antagonist, surprise me again Marvel; I dare ya!

Now that I see it wasn't a generalization for what Marvel is using for publicity (read the solicitation for future comics and you'll see that the word shocking is used a lot), I see your comment as very witty.up: It also leads me to believe that you thiunk as I do, that Quasar might not make it out of this event alive. Moondragon also gives me that vibe while Gamora doesn't.

I never read the Drax mini because I heard bad reviews... but I just read it and I kinda liked it. The ending was a little anti-climactic, but the story overall was fairly interesting. Now I know why Drax has some annoying girl at his side in Nova.
