It's not like I'm saying it's a bad thing. I seriously just wonder how people even MANAGE that. Because I think I spend far too much time on this website, mainly because none of my friends collect comic books, but I'm going on my fifth year here and haven't even reached 20K. And I post A LOT. I post in the spam threads, in the comic threads, in the movie threads, the tv threads. I'm here almost every day and sometimes spend hours upon hours here out of boredom....

I mean, it's just like...do people even eat? :wow:

.....sometimes I eat at the computer. :csad:

I don't like it when bread goes stale.

Or when I buy bread and it's already going stale.

Has your bread ever turned green, then started talking? Because I like it when it does that. It's like I paid a few bucks for a pet toast.

I've had it turn a bluish green and hairy, but it's never talked to me, but when I threw it in the burn barrel, I could have sworn I heard it scream in pain.

It annoys the crap out of me when you're trying to bury the first body, and it's not cooperating, then a jogger comes up the hill, where you were TOLD no one would ever look. UGH! :cmad:

So what about those people who do nothing but "capitalise" every single letter in their posts? To be honest if it irritates you just let it be because things you do might annoy others... just because some of us can type well and use the keys it doesn't mean everyone out there can... if there's something to be said it shouldn't matter if there is capitals or not as long as you can read it there's no problem

"Shouting" does annoy me, too. Just not nearly as much as not using caps at all.

I am letting it be. I'm not actively going out and holding a gun to everyone's head forcing them to type like english majors or anything--it's just a passing comment. It's really no worse than seeing a car and saying "Damn, that's an ugly colour".

We're all annoyed with how others do things but if we make a thread like this is deemed as spam and it gets closed so double standards shouldn't apply either... if you don't like it deal with it, you don't know who's on the end of the posts so they might not have the capability due to an illness or whatever... best thing is to ignore what you don't like and get on with it

I never deem it spam, provided it doesn't go toward that direction. This is the exact place for these things. And this isn't exactly MY thread. I named it "Annoyances" so that other people can complain in here, too. It's not "Drak's Annoyances".

Alright, everyone. Take a big breath and repeat after me: "It's just the internet.". This will be your mantra for the day. Chant it during your deep breathing exercises. :)

I happen to like ugly cars.
I think they have character.

It is NOT just the internet. Each and every post we make on this message board is important. If you can't make messages right, then you shouldn't be making messages at all.

Yeah, but don't let your friends catch you riding them. :csad:

Well in that case there's some things that annoy me:

People who don't make the point of their thread known to those who will be posting in it

People of higher positions who are here to help, but choose to come on hidden, I see that as a way to avoid getting any complaints from members

But I just let these things be and move on...

The following things annoy me to no end.
People who post "too long-I'm not going to read that" Personally, I see that as spam, and when I see it, I delete it. It's pointless to post something like that in a thread if you're not going to participate in the discussion.

Yep. That's me. My life is way too precious to spend it on reading a post that is way too long for its own good.

But...most of my friends are the ones with the ugly cars.

My one friend has such an ugly sad pathetic car she named it betsy.
It's so wrecked nothing works in it. Car seats are all taped up, windows don't move, locks barely lock, doors barely open, one doesn't.

But it's an awesome car. I'd be proud to own that car.

You REALLY wouldn't like the Spider-Man Comic forum because that's basically all that goes on there. :o

And, how about them Steelers, dude! :woot:

I very rarely go into the Spidey boards. I can imagine how it gets. Thank goodness the Punisher board only gets the occasional jackass. Gotta love the black and gold!!!

This is basically what the Spider-Man comic forums are like right now.

Unmasking supporter: I like the unmasking.

Unmasking hater: WHAT?! Peter Parker is written so out of character! Joe Quesada is such a fat loser he can't leave Peter Parker alone! You don't know ANYTHING about Spider-Man or his mythos! I've been reading Spider-Man since the 70's, he would NEVER do that!

Unmasking supporter: But in the 70's there wasn't a superhuman registration act nor was Spider-Man a part of the Avengers. And Aunt May didn't know that he was Spider-Man either. A lot has changed. I like the unmasking because it adds a new dynamic to Spider-Man and the books are exciting again.

Unmasking hater: Oh my God! Those are such lame excuses! You know that it's all just a marketing ploy by Quesada to make money! That's all it is! Jeez, people can be so gullible sometimes! If you like the unmasking you OBVIOUSLY know nothing about Spider-Man. Stan Lee would be so ashamed right now!

That's basically all it is over there. And imagine having like 10 different people saying that over and over again when all you said was that you LIKED something they didn't. It's craziness. :wow:

Yeah, that would be tough to deal with. I always like how they say that "Marvel is just trying to make money off of this." DUH, What do you think businesses are in business to do? If they don't make money then they shut down.

Heh. I know. In some ways there is a point to the whole "It's just a marketing ploy" angle. Well, from a fans point of view, anyway.

But, yeah, me being in the Spidey comics forum right now is like one left wing liberal surrounded by 20 right wing conservatives.

Keep up the good fight against them!!

An annoyance for me is when people take up 2 parking spots for their damn car. If you are so worried about your car getting bumped or scratched then you should have it out of the garage.
