I'm starting to get really annoyed when people quote a GIANT series of pictures and then post a smiley or some one-word show of appreciation.

What annoys me is users who sign up and are here for a month or two and just post there way and have like already 10k. I mean seriously, i'm not the only who thinks this and it obviously bothers people. They care about Avvys and sigs and all that other stuff. A user named The Punisher pointed this out and frankly it makes sense. Drakon, there needs to be control on the spamming situation. Game threads and all that are not the only things the Hype is about damnit. I really don't like users such as Hack and Slash and Mr. Lex Luthor. They claim they have no lives and therefore that results them to posting every damn day? I got news for you both, everyone here HAS lives, so go read a book or something. That's just a silly excuse to them not admitting they do spam therefore having the high numbers. Period. A rule needs to made about this, popping into threads and saying simple one liners is just crap imho.

And you know what else is annoying? Actually it's not really annoying it's something that confuses me more than anything...

But people who have only been here for like a year or maybe 2 and already have close to or over 20,000 posts. I mean, how is that even possible?

I know sometimes I don't have a life going on and get bored and spend an entire afternoon here...but I mean you'd have to literally sit on the Hype all day, everyday to do that.

Well in that case there's some things that annoy me:

People who don't make the point of their thread known to those who will be posting in it

People of higher positions who are here to help, but choose to come on hidden, I see that as a way to avoid getting any complaints from members

But I just let these things be and move on...

I didn't mean for it to be vague.

Actually, I'm usually not on invis. And most of us do that so that we can catch people in the act, instead of them thinking "Oh, I better just behave because the staff is on."

It annoys me, too. This is a community, and should be treated as such. That's why I had those polls up about two weeks ago.

Drakon, there needs to be control on the spamming situation. Game threads and all that are not the only things the Hype is about damnit. I really don't like users such as Hack and Slash and Mr. Lex Luthor.

After his incident in Tech Support, I don't think very highly of Hack and Slash, either, but Lex is an alright dude. Most of his posts nowadays come from the Lounge. And I have mixed feelings on chat threads, too.

Just mainly Hack and Slash and Luthor. Hack and Slash proved he couldn't live without his avvy and sig when he got them taken away for him. Whining and saying all this stuff then flat out admiting he'd post his way to 10k before he gets them back. Just shows that's all he was after.

It bugs me, but it's not a big deal about the 30k thing. Everyone spams at first--hell, I spammed the hell out of these boards when I first joined. Granted, it took me 4 months to get 3000, but I did it. I have 1337 posts in the now-defunct "Word Association" thread [though I wasn't doing it entirely to raise my post count, I was a complete noob at the time].
