To me, it's a very gross habit, doubled when the smoker in question can't be bothered to not smell like stale tobacco.

Yeah, I think anytime someone knows you somewhat "abstain" from something they're like, you ain't really living. Since I don't really drink, I get that from people all the time, but I'm like, have you ever smoked weed or taken LSD? When they say no, I'm like, mother****er, you're probably missing out then. :o

Hahaha that is true! Some people automatically think you're a junkie or something if you say you smoke weed.

I had a Clove once. I was thinking about continuing to have them, but after smoking one of them, and then going to bed, and waking up the next morning with a headache I decided to stay away.
Though I do miss the taste.:o
I've heard that picking cloves up as a habit can make your lungs bleed. :csad:

Cloves are tasty, though.

I've been told they do the same thing as regular cigarettes.
So, yeah. I guess they do make your lungs bleed. :p

I tend to respect people that smoke cigars moreso than cigs. They just have that air about them. :o :oldrazz:

I've never smoked cigs, but I've been to a couple cigar bars and tried those a few times, but it's not something I do as a staple.

I've been tempted to try out a cigar. Maybe new years or something. *shrug*

That's funny, I work in the Cigar Industry. I smoke cigars very often, and have for going on 7 years.

I smoked cloves when i forst started, then slowly moved towards real cigarettes. Now whenever i smoke a clove it burns my throat, and takes me like 30 minutes to smoke the whole thing. I hate them.

Also, one year for thanksgiving i was eating some ham that had cloves on it, and accidentaly ate one, and had a clove overload and almost puked. It was gross.

I didn't know regular cigarettes made lungs bleed. I guess it makes sense, though...smoking causes enzymes in your lungs to become active and destructive to lung tissue. Well actually, they inactivate a regulator of that enzyme, but that's neither here nor there.

Has anyone smoke bancrack? No it's not what it sounds like! It's banana resin or something, gets you a little bit floaty.

You mean Mellow Yellow? That stuff doesn't work.

LOLZ Mellow yellow? I dunno about that. The stuff I had once was a brownie colour, yea it wasn't very good. You know that feeling you get when you're lying down for ages then get up quickly? Sorta like that.

I get that with any type of smoke in my lungs, though, especially if I'm holding it in. Oxygen deprivation and all that. I dunno, just sounds like Mellow Yellow (where you'd scrape and dry/process the inside of banana peels) from the description.

Yea it must be the same thing. I've actually done well this week, I usually smoke a pack of 10 every day but i've been making 10 last me two days!

We got a dub about 5 days ago...through that now. Bah. We should slow down and make it last.

Has anyone tried the Blu, or any of the products like it? A couple of they guys I work with have bought them and they seem pretty satisfied about 3-4 weeks into their ownership. No of them have smoked any regular cigs since they started and they all seem to be clearing all the gunk out of their lungs. I'm curious if anyone here has tried these products and if their experiences are similar.
Discuss!

The Blu is not a very good one. I have a Joye 510 and it is much more satisfying to me than the Blue or it's counterparts. It's very much like having a portable mini-hookah. I haven't smoked a tobacco cigarette since I've started on these.

Have you noticed any health improvements since you transitioned to the new device?

No more random coughing fits, I'm running a lot longer now, my blood circulation seems better, lots of little improvements over the last month and a half.

Around seven months since my last cigarette. I know how some people gain weight by needed that hand to mouth thing for the craving. I didn't want that so I started running alot. Relaxed me more than a camel crush.
Ended up losing 20 pounds in the process. And I am now turned off by the smell.

Good deal.

After your 1st post I looked it up then walked around to the one co-worker I've been talking with the most and he abandoned his Blue in favor of a Joye very quickly. Cited battery problems and overrall dissatisfaction with the Blu. Loves the Joye, though.

And I'm the same way BB. I quit about 8 years ago when my wife became pregnant and the smell just turns my stomach now. Even when I continued to smoke cigars on occasion afterward, which I've also given up now, cigarettes turned my stomach.
