It annoys the crap out of me when people derail Drak's Annoyances thread with 9-11 conspiracy junk.

Me too. I don't make politicial threads, nor do I want a non-political thread I make to turn into one.

Then do something about it.

If it keeps going, I'll remove the posts from this thread, and place them elsewhere.

The following things annoy me to no end.


Bumping of old threads simply by using the word "bump" and/or the cocky smiley. If your thread was so lame that you couldn't think of anything relevant to say other than "bump", then apparently, your thread REALLY doesn't need to be bumped in the first place, now does it? For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

Peple who abhor using the shift key. Seriously, I know that I tend to capitilize a bit TOO much, according to certain people, but it's better than not doing it at all. At the VERY least, just do the first letter in a sentence and the letter "I" when signifying yourself. For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

Using "LOL", "LMAO" or other shorthand while typing on a messageboard. I can understand doing it in a game, like WoW or Counter Strike. I can tolerate it in an IM. But there's no reason to have it on a message board--it's not like you don't have time to react to something someone said. You're not going to need a resurrection, or get sniped. And for you smartasses who are going to type "Yes I am "--you're ****ing lying. For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

Totally disagree there. There are so many comedic geniuses on the Hype that I am literally laughing out loud when I read some posts.
When anyone else in the world says something hilarious, they can get the positive reinforcement/instant gratification of hearing a listener start laughing. But on the Hype, they can't hear me laughing my ass off here in the lobby, getting suspicious glances from people as they walk through, thinking I must be flying high on acid because my face is red and I'm crying and giggling like a mutant.
I'll be damned if I'm going to take the time to type out "Hey, poster...what you just said? It made me literally laugh out loud because it was so funny. Keep up the good work being funny!"
And sometimes "Hahahahaha" is the perfect response, but at other times it looks so faerie-ass like Hello Kitty-World, "Hahahahaha, oh what a delightful WhITT! Hahahaha, come up for crumpets? Tra-la-la-laLA Hahahahaha!"

Also, I hate it when someone posts an article that's several parapgraphs, and someone reads it, quotes the entire thing and under it they type, "Totally." or "Right On!", or "Wrong Forum".
And then a couple posts later someone else quotes the entire article and says "Good read!"....and then someone else quote the entire article and posts a "", or an "omG!"
