Either way I took my chances with Apocalypto. And, it was a good decision. I liked the movie. It was really good.

I saw both. The screens for Apocalypto and Blood Diamond were right across from each other, so we snuck in to Blood Diamond and didn't miss a thing with the exception of some previews. Both movies were really good. Apocalypto is a thrilling ride from start to finish. A quite brutal one at that. Blood Diamond is a brilliant merge of the political thriller genre (akin to Constant Gardener) and the action drama. It's certainly much better than Zwick's The Last Samurai. And regardless of what some may say, DiCaprio's South African accent is damn good.

People are confusing the accent with an Australian accent and while it is a horrible Aussie accent, that is only because its not meant to be.

Yeah, but Jews also like making money. I was reading this article which said that there are many more Jews in Hollywood who hate Gibson but will not say that in public because this still wanna work with the man. In 2006 Mel Gibson still = money!

Apocolypto was actually pretty decent. Yeah, it's subtitled but it didn't bother me even though I normally hate subs. The only thing that I may have disliked is the fuzzy advertising on this. You think it's about the downfall of the Mayans but it's really more about this guy who gets captured by them and escapes back to his family. It's still worth a watch.

You know I gave Mel Gibson a pass with Passion cuz at least I could see where he was going wtih it, and hell I got a Grade A Snuff Film out of it... This film was just utter crap

The movie is suppose to be about a chase instead the chase doesn't come till a hour and a half into the movie, and then the chase last for 20 minutes, and the chase is garbage. The first hour and a half will bore you to tears full of disgusting and un-needed imagery, full of useless characters, and the list goes on. The movie sucks, plain and simple, stay away from it like the plague

Try reading a history book.

1) Jesus was not arrested for being a Hebrew criminal, he was arrested for crimes agains the Empire.

2) A crowd of Jews did not gather to demand Jesus' death or vote that a murderer be free so Jesus died. In fact, the ONLY text that mentions any Roman tradition of the governor releasing a criminal at Passover is the bible.

The bible has been altered so many times it is not even funny. The parts about the Jews killing Jesus is just a way to make Christianity look better.

Historically the Jews were in no way responsible for Jesus' death. Jesus' preached to be the son of God, this was a crime against the Roman Empire and the governer Pilate (Who for the record, was renowned for his cruelty) put Christ to death. That simple.
