Another remake in the works, and this one isn't too pretty...

Wow... I didn't think they'd remake this... they have no shame, huh?

Great!

Next we'll hear that they're remaking "The Exorcist". (if they did, I would probably do nothing, but I'd be severely pissed off, as it is my favorite horror film)

Oh well, it can't be ANY better than the original, I don't care who's involved.

CAH

I wonder if the 'curse' will carry on the remake?

Wouldn't it be real spooky if whoever is cast in the role of the daughters also die mysterious deaths in real life?!......

Hehe, I was just thinking that... or is she too old? Maybe her sister?

Dakota Fanning definitely has to be cast then. :D

No, that's a horrible thing for me to say. ;)

They would probably cast that ***** "Jo Jo" as her older sister, than she could release a crappy companion soundtrack for the movie. (sarcasm):yay:

It barely passed the grade pal.

This movie is one of those movies (like the Fly) that does not need a remake!

Oh well, here's to hoping this remake is more like the Omen remake and not like most remakes.

Meh, I never thought the original was great in the first place. I bought the DVD for $5 and expected a terrifying film, due to the constant praise I've heard in it's name. After the viewing, I could see why it was rated PG, it wasn't in the least bit frightening. I don't know, maybe if I had seen it when I was 10-years old I would have been a little disturbed by it, but overall, I was disappointed.

exactly.

and besides, if they're doing a 'frame by frame' remake, who cares? it'll be true to the original story in that sense, at least, just with better effects, and probably scarier, since the original wasn't.

If they are, then it would be a waste of money. Look at Gus Van Sant's Psycho!......

God, I hate remakes where they do everything the exact same way.

As opposed to remakes where they re-imagine it and fanboys still complain?

Well, I don't hate them... ;)
