Another Teenage Angst thread...le sigh

I felt the same way when I left home and moved to plymouth with my wife- I actually ended up resenting her because I'd left literally my life behind.

Don't see it as an obstacle. See it as a challenge. Set yourself some goals, even if its only simple- smile and say thanks to the next person that helps you, for example. Then turn those little things into a ladder and build on them until you're making yourself feel good just by doing the day-to-day stuff.

you'll get over it in no time

just avoid being emo

I actually despsise Emo's and I would never dream of being one...I just said that because I associate complaining with little emo ****bags...

yeah...

But thanks for the advice guys.

how come when people on here are upset about osmething, theres a flood of "kill yourself" posts. That just doesnt seem right at all, especially when people, young people, do commit suicide for what can people outside the situation would generally believe to be trivial.

Suicide is not funny and should not be treated as such.

Anyways, I've moved before, I moved when I was 10 from San Diego to South Carolina...and I got adjusted to that and was happy...then the whole thing happened all over again..

Well I'm sure you will make fast friends in Kentucky. You will meet some new friends and make moonshine together and see who's got the prettiest sister.

Yeah, I really do hate the whole "emo" term.

It's bloody annoying. It's a stupid genre.

We're an emotional species. Yet we throw emo around like it's bad to show feelings:huh:

I hate it...

So many times I've tried to talk to someone, or ask for help, or just an ear to lend. And what happens? I get told to suck it up, or "shut up" something similair to that. It's bloody annoying.

did I mention that I moved out of hell? And moved to heaven?
Just an FYI, heaven is really scary because everybody smiles all the time.

Now I'm back in the real world where I'm a mere mortal

and it sucks

Yup. Always seems like a good reason at the time. Never seems like such a good idea when you're puking in the back of the abmulance.

However, what normally happens when you tell a teenager, straight out, to do something?
