Answering script questions: DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPOIL THE WHOLE MOVIE

OOOooh, battle of the wits. I have enjoyed the verbal tug of war and am stimulated by the diatribe of both word-warriors. Why dont you guys just whip it out to see who's bigger, lmao. :cwink: All in good fun gentlemen, all in good fun.

Oh, he's definitely more the wordsmith EB. It's just hard to get anywhere with someone whom, it seems, more is impressed by the sound of his own voice than is actually interested in discussing things (i.e., It can be a "chore" for him to discuss the Hulk on a Hulk forum). Not to mention the fact that he unapologetically chastises other movies, finding no need to provide qualifiers or other notation that would suggest some of his edgier comments are merely that of his own opinion and thereby respect the thoughts/feelings of those whose movies he's just degraded are esteemed to be favorites. He flatly denies that one ever should feel the need to do so, for that matter, and, well, it makes chatting with him all the more trivial, lest you or I or a movie we happen to love voluntarily run the risk of being slammed without warning and for no apparent reason, save that which would constitute anything less than or equal to his simply "wanting to." This is evidenced by the fact that he's been prone to slight other posters more directly with comments to the effect that "if their grammar, spelling, and attitude are any indication," they presumably are dimwitted people who are not worth his time. And of course he insults this forum itself, including any of its unspoken rules of courtesy which - despite our acknowledging and petitions for he also to acknowledge - he gladly ignores. Claims it's all "so elementary" and "sophomoric" and "ridiculous" and... well, I'm sure his (mind) is an endless supply of modifiers that serve no apparent purpose but to flatter himself.

It's just curious that he continues to post here, a board that must so utterly undermine his intelligence that it insults his own presence on it - a board that may at times even require "needless babying," if he is to enjoy it. I mean, it's all just so hypocritical, isn't it? Why insult yourself to hang around on a board on which it is so obviously beneath you to impart your intelligence? Wouldn't he benefit more to take his superior IQ to some ivory tower where he can be among his "real" peers than to defect to the company of we mere rabble?

Well, I suppose now, in typical fashion, he'll challenge the mere assertion of these things and spin them in whichever direction he needs to find himself on top. He's "always on top," you know. And yeah, I'm more or less done with this verbal tug of war, as you call it - he can win if that is, in fact, what it is.

Wow. This really escalated quickly...

While it has not been directly stated, lets do some thinking about not only TIH, but Marvel movies in general; incorporating recent news..
1. The Hulk and Iron Man may share a scene or cameo in each other's movies. Easily done with CGI, so I dont want to here "Shooting has wrapped on both."
2. THe Hulk and Abom now have the origin of "Super Soldier Serum."
3. Marvel has a Captain America movie in the pipeline, who, btw, owes his power to "Super Soldier Serum."
hmmm...
It would seem to me that Marvel is creating a "Marvel Movie Universe" that will include lots of their characters, and the ability of those characters to fluidly move back and forth through those movies.
I don't really have a problem with tweaking the Hulk's origin, as I believe that Marvel is attempting to seperate their characters with "created" powers, such as Hulk, Cap, DD, Spidey, etc from those who are "born" with their poers, such as mutants. For me, it's not really how the Hulk got here, it's just the fact that he is going to tear hell out of everything now that he is here.

I'm actually in favor of updating the origin, as I'm convinced Stan lifted the original G-bomb plot from the 1950's sci-fi movie "The Amazing Collossal Man."

I'm not crazy about Hulk having Man-Thing's origin, but what the hey, the Man-Thing movie sure didn't use it.

Both origins still contain Gamma Radiation. There is still a gamma bomb equivalent for Hulk's origin but it just has Super Solider Serum because that is what allows Banner to survive the blast and links in Captain America for future tie-ins and crossovers such as an Avengers movie.

Aha. Thank you for the clarification.
*Has anyone here tried repeating "Super Soldier Serum" about five time quickly?*

Might as well let the "I've got the script..." thread die, and revert back to this more multi-functional thread, where the script can be asked for, and questions asked and answered.

Hi Guy's,

If anyone could PM me a copy/link to the script that would be real kind. I asked this on the other thread but I get the impression that one has died now.

Dang.. I am awful tempted to ask for the script too but I want to be surprised overall.

I have it but haven't read it and don't intend to until after I see the movie. I want to see how much they change the script, as someone pointed out how Louis Leterrier said that the script has changed so much and that Ed Norton was doing daily rewrites during filming. I did read the first few pages though.

For those who've gotten the script through me and still have the link in your inboxes, don't hesitate to share it with others that ask for it here.
Shouldn't all be up to be, although I'm glad to help. :woot:

Hi. Would anyone minding PMing me this here script being talked about? Thanks!

I'm a little confused. At first you said that Abomination is defeated by the Hulk cracking his skull and a metal lever.

But then afterwards, you said a steel pipe gets driven through his heart and his neck snapped.

There nothing to spoil if this isnt even the final script he read.

Hell, the first few drafts of "Ghostbusters" had them out in space.

The first plans for Ghostbusters were insanely epic and vastly beyond movie budgets at the time. It was a whole legion of Ghostbusters travelling thru time and fighting all manner of ghosts and monsters.

Does that mean they would have had to fight Space Ghost?
