Answering script questions: DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPOIL THE WHOLE MOVIE

Hey another q. (Don't care too much about this one)

Does this movie show the leader in ANY way whatsoever if so, how?

thanks in advance!:yay:

This is great, Gotham. Thanks for doing this. It's sort of what I'd hoped for in the "Ask Louis Leterrier a Question" thread a while back, but never got.

My question is: What's your take on LL's comment, "A regular movie has 150 scenes. Our movie has 350 scenes" made at Comic-Con? For reference, the transcript of the panel discussion during which he made the comment is available in this thread. Thanks in advance.

Well,

He probably meant that the cutting between the last battle would be large. Even in the script it's fast. CUT TO/CUT TO/CUT TO.

Louie said that he likes Ang's style in first one. Is in the script those comic book windows?

No fight scene ever lasted 15 minutes? LOL I know he corrected it to 15 pages but I can assure you there are movies with 15 minutes of fighting. Hell wasn't the end of Ong Bak like 15-20 minutes of fighting.

In the movie Equilibrium w/ Christian Bale the final action in the movie which was all fight lasted 18 minutes. Bruce Lee's fight w/ Chuck Norris was over ten minutes long. It can be done. How long was the Transformers final battle or X3, pretty long.

The fight at the end of Blazing Saddle lasted a long time :oldrazz: :woot:

And who can forget the fight in They Live but that was probably about 10 minutes. That was funny as ****.

Sheeesh! That movie was bad but this line made it ok. "I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum"

Back to work. Talk to you guys later. It's HULK TIME!!!

Hey guys got 2 more videos up on the video thread including one where someone snuck onto the set with his camera. LOL

1) Can you tell us about the transformations? Do they sound painful, as they should?

2) What impressive feats of strength does Hulk show?

3) Is the rumoured brick fight scene in this movie?

4) Can you tell us more about 'Hulkvision'?

1) Yes. They're mind-clinching when you read them.

2) None. I mean, he is the Hulk.

3) Nope.

4) Yes. Throughout the film it's blurry for Banner, though, when fighting Abomination we suddenly see a very clear and very cool vision.

Not so much a fight a scene with this example but most of the last hour of Return of the Jedi was one long battle (well...a collection of 3 different battles going on at the same time), and POTC AWE was about the same.
Both the second and third Matrix films had some rather lengthy slug-fests too (a bit too long to be honest).

And let's not forget ALL of the Rocky films, which of course all have long fight scenes in the finale.

is anyone gonna answer my q.?

"are there gonna be main titles?"

Um, yeah, not something that is covered in a script. The inclusion of titles, and HOW they are handled is done in post production.

well i respect your decision but everyone wants to know different things i may the only one to want to know the answer to this question but still i wouldn't really care if i knew this answer because its a movie, and you will know anyway, concerning books i have read the last chapter because i couldn't be bothred to read the whole book!

LMFAO. You have got to be kidding me.

no fight scene has ever lasted fifteen minutes before, i don't believe you...

Um, not true.

FAR from true.

Also, even car chases have been that long. With plenty of fighting as well.

They leave a hint or two. General Ross talking to Blonsky about a super serum project, Banner being involved. Blonsky wanting to hunt Banner down and pump himself up with the serum. They tip-toe around it very much, but in a good way. I loved the script. :ninja:

That, in no way, sounds good.

The ONLY thing "hinted" at is that he injected himself with a serum.

No good if that is ALL there is to it.

But somebody said that it's on 15 pages so maybe it'll be only 8 minutes or 10 or 20 or... :woot:

Um, general rule of thumb for scripts is that one page translates to one minute. Now if you are talking action, one page can translate to five minutes, as saying 'Hulk smashes the campus door' takes a line, but on screen it could take thirty seconds, easily.
