Did they not explain that although the object shrinks it retains it's mass? Like when Scott fell on the roof of the car while small and made a dent or when the toy train hit Yellowjacket and bounced off because he had human mass.

But if they can shrink a building and put it on a handcart it must only weigh a few pounds.

Although he did carry a tank around on a keychain in the first movie, so......

Oh well, looks likes fun like the first one!

Yeah the science they employ is wonky at best.

Shrink ray technology is something that's derived from pulp science fiction fantasies of the 1950s, anyhow.

The thing with the building is beyond silly... unless it had no foundations and was literally on wheels that were somehow strong enough to hold its weight, that wouldn't work at all. But it looks cool, so... eh.

They weren't consistent with it in the first film either, since Hank could carry around a shrunken tank on a key chain no problem.

Keep forgetting that Ghost is the villain in this.

I wonder if there are loads of tiny rats in the shrunken building.

Here's my completely baseless and crazy theory concerning the building: it is actually a miniature (created by Pym himself?), and what we see in the trailer is just him restoring it to its original size.

Hahaha. This theory reminds me of Derek Zoolander's School for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Want to Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too in Zoolander 2--where the building collapsed due to it being made from the materials used for the model. Lol.

Yeah, pretty much. One of those times when you just have to let the coolness override whether it makes sense. ;)

F course we're gonna see it. Fun as **** as these characters should be.

Which makes me wonder if the building had any plumbing or electricity running through it.

I hope they spend a good amount of time in the subatomic realm.

During the wasp dodging scene... where does the other two knifes come from?

It's impossible to know without watching the entire scene, but in the trailer we only saw one guy throwing the knives. Anyway, in a movie where a building was shrunk and a Hello Kitty Pez was supersized into the size of a truck, I don't think it's a big deal tbh.

Don’t think about it too much. Hulk’s pants always seem to stay on too.

My guess is that he's just throwing them really fast.

I read a comment where a poster compared Pym Particles to Flash's Speed Force. Both of them are inconsistent in their explanation and logic breaks down when you analyze them thoroughly, but the way I see it is that the Pym Particles actually manipulate the mass on command; when Scott punches a bad guy, his mass returns from his full human size, but when he rides Antony II he can reduce it so he'd be light enough to sit on the back of an insect. It's as improbable as Tony controls his suit with a thought.

All of the office furniture must've tipped over when he began wheeling the building. Were there any people still left in there?

And if they're going to go with hokey science, then why not dispense with Wasp's helmet completely so that she can show her face like in the comics?

The difference is that in the first movie, Darren Cross experimented his own Particle without protection on the test animal and it failed, but later after he put it in a bubble it survived the process. And throughout the movie it was established that Scott Lang must have a helmet before he shrink, so it's not something that can be discarded easily. As for that building, we haven't seen it within the context of the movie yet, so I'd wait for the movie to see how they explain it first before jumping to conclusion.

I think it was established somewhere that Tony Stark made expandable pants.

Same tech as Spider-man's suit that can stretch and expand.

Sure, let's break down the science.

In the mean time, my hype meter for 2018 is now:

1) Ant-Man & The Wasp
2) IW
3) BP
