Yes, Like will Scott Lange/Ant-Man still be on the run in the movie or will that be resolved off screen or in Avenger: Infinity War Part 1?

I think that this much has been revealed. he's still a wanted man. I don't think that it applies to Hope or Pym, though.

I am hoping the movie takes place in the subatomic realm or at least some of it. Going to be interesting to see what the mission is after IWs. I would love Michael Pena's character to come back I am just not sure how he can possibly fit. Maybe Cap sends Lang on a mission that helps them track Thanos.

Luis and his brother-in-law Jorge runs into Thanos at a pre-Broadway tryout of a revival of Sondheim's Follies at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.

he'll be their anchor/tie to the non-subatomic world.

I think we'll start getting big updates later this month and April.

Pym Technologies Building Imploded for real. The Georgia Archives building has been demolished

Hey, what if Scott decided to stay behind when Cap broke his team free? Perhaps he figured that he should try making a deal with the Accords. Do some secret spy missions and go home to Cassie early?

I wonder if they will make Cassie a teenager in this sequel?

Unlikely.

A time jump would effect Lang and Hopes appearance in the Avengers movies.

They aren't making Cassie into a superhero in the sequel so there isn't any point in aging her up.

I wonder if Scott's ex-wife and her husband if they will be back on the bandwagon of hating Scott?

I think they'll respect him as trying to turn his life around as a superhero. They clearly always liked him, despite his poor life decisions. The real question, IMO, is will they let Cassie be around him since danger usually comes to find the loved ones of superheros, especially those with no alter ego...

I certainly hope not. The fact that Cassie's step dad is actually a decent and good guy and that the end of the first movie he and Scott's ex got what Scott was doing and why... it was refreshing (no 'evil step parent' trope). I hope they keep that positive dynamic.

Just my opinion, of course (and apologies if it didn't make sense)

I've been reading the Tales to Astonish issues, and think Kulla and the Slave World is sort of the villain/direction this film is gunna go. Probably not using him as a template at all, put something in that vein. Although the Ancient One mentioned the Quantum Realm as being benevolent and life giving, so maybe the baddie won't be a tyrant of a micro-dimension.

Paxton and Maggie's dislike/disapproval of Scott never really made sense in the movies because they rewrote the script to make him less of a shady character.

Scott committed a Robin Hood crime (his boss was embezzling money from customers so Scott returned the money to the people. Lang also crashed his boss car into a swimming pool). Lang's criminal record made it hard for him to get another job and pay child support.

If Lang was a career criminal cat burglar, screw up or slacker then the attitude towards him would make more sense. At worst he was a guy doing a good deed through dubious methods. Crashing his ex-boss sports car into a pool was irresponsible and juvenile but his boss was a scumbag.

Either way Cassie is in danger well because Scott has enemies ever since revealing himself as Ant Man and not to mention with the Accords he is a wanted man after the events of Civil War but also because with Infinity War coming yeah it makes him a threat to his own daughter despite being a superhero

Scott was an unemployable convicted felon who owed back payments on child support. Distrust and anger for that is reasonable regardless of the crime.

Exactly and now that he is Ant Man that is only bound to get worse because if he is a wanted man because of CW then won't Maggie and Paxton be under the impression that he has gone back to his criminal ways

If it is announced that he is a "wanted" man because of some involvement with Avengers - CAPTAIN AMERICA, FALCON, and HAWKEYE......I don't think they will think he is up to some criminal ways but really suspect that there is something a whole lot more to it.
