I doubt Scott is high on Hydra or Shield's radar. Hydra and Shield were perfectly happy to let Hank Pym walk off with the Ant-Man tech for a quarter if a century. Carson got away with Cross particles so he could go to Hydra and create tech to counteract Ant-Man.

There is stuff that counteracts pym particle in the comics.

In an interview for CHIPS, Peña divulged that after Extinction, he was moving right into the Ant-Man sequel.

“So, I’m doing Extinction next, that’s a Universal movie. And then I’m doing Ant-Man, Part 2.”

If they are it would be interesting to see why. Hank and Janet's history in the MCU is one of the things that interests me about the Ant-Man and Wasp franchise.

Hank Pym must be one BAMF for Hydra to steer clear of him.

No one posted Rudd filming for IWs yet. Possible his mission in this and IW run at a similar time. Like I mentioned maybe Cap sends him on a solo mission ahead of time.

It would give Hawkeye some much needed screen time and something to do. I really don't see Renner/Hawkeye having much to do in both Avenger movies.

I actually didn't realize Ant Man was getting a sequel. This is great news!

The first movie was a ton of fun, and it left us with a lot of storylines to explore.

Ant Man's appearance in Civil War was great, I personally preferred the moment where he throws the truck at War Machine.
