Plus if you put Zeta Jones as Janet she and her husband Douglas would be in the same film but wouldn't that be kind of awkward

Some Ant-Man news

David Dastmalchian says the Ant-Man sequel is "mind-blowing."

I can say Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to do things in the Marvel universe that they haven't gotten an opportunity to do yet and I just got some tidbits the other day and they're mind-blowing. It's going to be really cool.

Marvel's Ant-Man animated shorts coming to Disney XD

I'm wondering if might we see another Falcon cameo?

does anyone know how it came to fruition that he would cameo in the first film? Was it a last minute thing? Or did they want Captain America or Iron Man but could only go with Falcon? I'm not knocking it. I think it was good. Helps build his fanbase.

Tell me about the cameo from Anthony Mackie's Falcon, who Ant-Man tussles with during one break-in. How did you decide to include him?

That was not in the original script, and when we were talking about increasing the heist movie tropes, McKay said, "There's always that moment where the heist is in place and the plan is ready but, oh ****, there's one more thing we've gotta get!" In our movie, it's the signal decoy, and Hank has to send Scott to this old Stark warehouse to get it. Unbeknownst to Pym, that old piece of land became — at the end of Age of Ultron — the new Avengers facility. So McKay pitched that he has to fight an Avenger, and we'd just seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so McKay suggested the Falcon. It seemed like the right character — not a marquee character like Iron Man or Thor, but the right level of hero. And the kid in us was excited: This hero has these certain powers and this other hero has different powers, so if they fight, who's gonna win? That's what I love about the whole Marvel thing: Mackie's in Winter Soldier, a pretty serious-minded political thriller, and then he comes into our movie and he's doing light comedy. Then he's going to be in Captain America: Civil War, where he'll be serious again.

As for whether we'll see another Falcon cameo in this film? It's always possible (as possible as any cameo from pretty much any other character is), but I wouldn't set your hopes on it - otherwise you could be setting yourself up for disappointment (also consider that, being international/wanted fugitives, Cap's team has likely scattered/separated from each other in order to not draw attention/have more of a chance to remain hidden from authorities). Remember, it's first and foremost an Ant-Man (and Wasp) film.

I can see Falcon or Hawkeye doing a cameo

I enjoy the concept of shrinking. We don't get many movies that has a character with that ability. I guess we can count Night at the Museum and of course Honey I shrunk the Kids, but those were a while ago.

I really want to see Lang and Hope infiltrate depending on the events of IWs. Lang training in giant mode is also something I want.

Spotted at Licensing Expo.

Now that we know T.I. Tip Harris is coming back for Ant Man 2 then this will definitely be a sequel worth watching that's for sure especially if they have Pena in this as well

Pena confirmed awhile back and it should be on one of the earlier post. He said he had a movie to film before reporting. This movie might be right after he is broken out by Cap.
or
he escapes whatever happens in IWs and goes to regroup.

I would like if this film dealt with what Hank thought about Scott running off to help Cap in CW. Sure he's got no love for Stark but on the other hand you could argue that Scott kinda threw away the second chance Hank gave him by doing that.

Yes I can imagine Hank not being happy with Scott but how about Hope I wonder what she would think?

I think it would be interesting if Scott Land reentering Hank and Hope's lives to discover that Hank has issued a new Ant-Man suit to Eric O'Grady. Or something along those lines.

I wonder what Hank will think about Scott if he decides to fight in the Infinity War

what's the budget expected to be?

Seeing that the first film's production budget was $130 million, I think this film's production will probably be around $160 - 170 million.

Unfortunately Disney XD doesn't want me to see those shorts because I live in a wrong country, but I did see the middle one on Marvel's Facebook and it was really fun. :)

The shorts do a good job of showcasing his powers in motion in the way I always thought they should in live action.

The kinetic energy of Ant-Man changing size propelling him at speed. It is how it was described in the comics but they could never really do a good job of showing it in static 2D images.

I thought so as well. Hope they up the ante

In possible casting news:

In the first major casting in the upcoming sequel to “Ant-Man,” Marvel has tapped Hannah John-Kamen for a new role in “Ant-Man and the Wasp.”

Paul Rudd is returning in the title role with Evangeline Lilly coming back as Hope van Dyne a.k.a. the Wasp. Michael Douglas and Michael Pena are also expected to reprise their roles from the original.

Marvel had no comment on the casting.

Marvel has been really secretive with their casting so far, especially with them supposedly starting filming later this month or early July.
