Either Beetle or a female Yellowjacket (which would seem too much of a repeat of the first movie).

How popular is Ant-Man in the Marvel world now after his film and appearance in CA? I would guess his comics are drastically upped in selling.

Maybe she will be playing [BLACKOUT]Janet Van Dyne, a new member of Team Ant-Man or a Villainess[/BLACKOUT].

I'm guessing Beetle or Monica Rappaccini

I think Hannah John-Kamen would make a great Janice Lincoln

No doubt the Lang version had a bit of a boost. I would assume Pym was known as Ant-Man by most so no boost in his material.

Love Hannah on Killjoys, will be interested to see who she is playing here.

Theories I've heard so far:

- Janet van Dyne
- Janice Lincoln
- Rita DeMara
- Greer Grant Nelson
- Trish Starr
- Monica Rappaccini
- Darla Deering

I have honestly no idea.

Thanks but other than Janet have no clue who those are.

- Janice Lincoln: female Beetle, daughter of Tombstone, came to work for Scott Lang in recent comics
- Rita DeMara: criminal who stole Yellowjacket suit, later redeemed and became honorary Avenger and a Guardian of the Galaxy.
- Greer Grant Nelson: Tigra
- Trish Starr: Niece of Egghead. Helped out Hank Pym on numerous occasions, lost her arm.
- Monica Rappaccini: A.I.M. scientist supreme
- Darla Deering: Pop star, friend of Scott Lang, also his colleague on Fantastic Four/Future Foundation and later worked for him. Known as Miss Thing in the comics.

Trish Starr would be interesting if Egghead was the villain. Perhaps they could do a twist on the comic storyline in which Egghead tricks Hank into helping his niece could and ends up forcing him to commit a crime that lands Hank in prison. Scott, Hope and Scott's buddies could break Hank out of prison. They could then try to track down Egghead and clear Hank's name.

Hank Pym got a boost from his appearances in the Avengers Earth's Mightest Heroes and Mighty Avengers/Avengers Academy appearances in recent years.

Marvel comics is currently focused more on legacy characters. Scott's Ant-Man book finished and Marvel has been pushing the new Wasp,Nadia Pym. There is also a new Giant-Man who is a Gay Indian American called Raz.

Hank Pym's current comic appearances have been limited to Pymtron. Hank merged with Ultron in the Rage Of Ultron graphic novel. It is currently a little ambiguous as to if Hank is dead or dormant inside of Pymtron.

Marvel comics loves synergy so I would expect some sort of Ant-Man and Wasp or Ant-Man family book to come out three to six months before the next movie.

Sharon Stone as Janet Van Dyne the original Wasp...I sure hope so

Cool, thanks

Huh. That's no small-time news, surprised more comic outlets haven't picked up on that yet unless this Omega Underground site is just good with scoops.

People are probably too focused on Spider-Man HC, Thor 3, Black Panther IWs.

Egghead as the villain I would definitely go for that

Hoping for a synopsis and a few more casting announcements.

I think we might get a official press release when production begins this week with a principle cast list and a basic synopsis.

We will probably get some more in-depth info at Comic-Con next month.

I just hope this film brings back the Edgar Wright elements.
