I am Alien

In the year 2032 man makes first contact with an intelligent life form not of this world: the Dentralli. In 2033 the first Interplanetary war in Earth's history begins. The year is now 2062, and a deep space recon mission to the Dentralli-homeworld has finally returned with a sole survivor. They discovered something unknown: on the homeworld there is an entire continent that the Dentralli dare not go on for fear of the predators there, a fear which borders on religion. The mission brought back genetic samplings of these beings and scientists have managed to make a stable hybrid able to shift between their human form and their predator form. Over a thousands soldiers under went this procedure. 10 experienced anomolous mutantion. They cannot shift, but they do remain humanoid.

Andre Hunter is one of the mutated few. he is also the sole survivor of the Dentralli-Homeworld expedition. He has become an almost canine like being with incredible stamina and amazing senses.

Charles Conrad is the program director's black sheep son, and a civillian. he ws exposed to the mutagen by mistake and mutated into an avian-like form.

Linda Helm is the chief geneticist for the project and fiance to Hunter, however he has been so distant since his return that she begins to fear for their relationship and developes feelings for Conrad.

Where to start? So far I'm not feeling it, the Dentralli are the bad guys and theres a predatory species on their homeworld that we human take samples of only to cross breed hybrids?

I'd have to read some more on this to fully appriacate it.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was really a bad idea for a comic. this is one of those that literally came to me in a dream. I added the past and why these soldiers could do what they do, really I just saw it all in a dream. mostly i saw a snippet where Charles kisses Linda and she turns in time to see Andre leap off for a battle... It's mostly a soap opera.

I think it could be salvaged, it's just missing something.

I'll help, first define the Dentralli a bit more, I'm kind of lost on what they are about.

The Dentralli are about 7 foot tall on average. their color ranges from a deep green to an almost teal color. they are evolved from herbivores. I imagine them evolved form something like Rhinos. They believe humans are barbaric monsters because we eat meat and are "Promiscuous" (Multiple males around females). basically this is a war about philosophy.

They are as evil as the Islamic-extremists in the middle east, the Catholic Extremeists in northern Ireland... you getting my drift?

not a problem. But like I said, I pretty much just had a general notion of the Dentralli. when you asked for details on them, I made them up on the spot... to be honest most times I get asked for elaboration I have to make it up on the spot...

Damn straight, I do believe this is the farthest they've ever gotten in the play offs. IF they win against Chicago, they go to the super-bowl... IF.

I'd open up more schools, more teams of X-men or similarly based stuff across North America. Of some coupla' million mutants, Prof. X has like what? tops a thousand? I think across N.A., maybe across the world altogether, there would be maybe 10 other mutant/superhuman schools that mutant children could get adopted by or enrolled in. Also, the X-men would have to move out of the X-mansion and have to be based somewhere else, it's just not safe for the students, and it isn't logical for parents to put their kids in such danger. i'm all for suspension of beleif, but I draw the line at "I convinced my mom to let me go to a boarding school where I'm always endangered of being attacked by freaky aliens/government agents/etc.

Wolverine would also be stripped of his powers at the end of House of M, except for his claws. He'd have to go find himself, and he wouldn't be a murderous bastard, but it'd be returning f roots to the old, cooler wolverine. He might come up against Sabretooth, who hasn't lost his powers, and or governments fearing him, Mariko revived from House of M, return to Japan, madripoor. Reliving his hey days by returning to his true home and such. Just to give the character some drive now that he's not so fun to read anymore.

Spidey would keep his house of M costume. That was a good costume.

House of M would result in a major power down for the Hulk so he wasn't impossible to beat.

Thor also, but not to the same degree. Maybe slightly less powerful, but smarter battelwise after Ragnarok, and wiser, plus never needing to return to Donald Blake.

Venom stories would cease to exist except in Spidey comics, he would be like he was with Macfarlene, or just post-Macfarlene. Writer's of all my favourite characters seem to be either complete idiots(Rucka and Way) regarding my favourite character or don't like him all that much apparently(whedon).

dude... haven't you been reading?

Thor has been missing since Ragnarok so no power down necessary

Hulk is on another planet where apparently his power levels aren't high enough.

There are 198 mutants, total, left in the world (so says the Office of National Emergency, O.N.E., who has quarentined as many of those 198 mutants on the Xavier compound as possible).

Sorry, should have been more specific.

House of M should have not ended with such a huge mutant disappearance, or at the very least had more of the important characters lose their powers. Either way, more super schools, even if not for mutants, but like genius kids that are like little Iron men or something.

Hulk will eventually return to Earth, and Hulk is now the strongest on that planet too. He was recently seen, so i'm told, grabbing hold of tectonic plates and shifting them back into place from a distorted position. That could be incorrect, correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, still coming back, and still overpowered.

Thor is also returning, i think he should be slightly less powerful after his struggle with Ragnarok. Thing is, I don't know how they plan on bring Asgard back, considering that Thor basically destroyed it, only thing left is Beta Ray Bill. Should be interesting though, he lookscool in his new costume.

Plus, I haven't read alot of Civil War, haven't been able to, didn't the one get destroyed and everything? Like blew up in there face kinda deal...

I don't know, I stopped reading any X-Men title when they allowed the governement to round up all the mutants, shove them into a walled up place, and then put friggin' electrocuting chips in them.

Crap, wished I'd heard about THAT.:csad:

I'm just not feelin this, it feels to early 90s.

Yeah totally not feelin' it at all.

Spider-Man has got to be one of the most recognizable characters in both universes... so how about this idea. now that he's out of the closet, he's going to need support: SPIDEY GOES COMERCIAL!

it already showed that he was pretty much a celebrity, so, I think for MJ and Aunt May's sakes, he should cash in on that. but of course that opens up new cans of worms as the world finds out more about Peter. interviews bring up his stances on controversial issues such as mutant rights and M-Day. Interviews reveal that he is extremely intelligent, and colleges beging flining honorary degrees his way. Let's explore the new complicated life of Peter Parker.

Peter is being prosued by a 'Starlet' like a Lindsay Lohan type and MJ ain't having none of that sh-t.

better yet, MJ and the Starlet are costaring in a movie together...

Meanwhile, Aunt May is being asked to write a parenting book "Clean Your Web, or No Slinging For You: Raising a Super-Hero".

J.J. is having an aneurism (not literally) as his law suit falls apart thanks to the Super-human lawfirm.

And it is revealed that Ms. Arrow really is Marrow as some have suspected, but only Peter is informed of this, making him VERY uncomfortable, especially when she starts dating Flash, who starts hanging out with Peter.

Peter, Flash, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, Matt Murdock, Cap, and Luke start a regular poker night (which is lovingly catered by Aunt May)
