They are letting this happen on purpose. To scare users away from visiting. This has been going on for years now. It makes sense for them to. Want this to happen & let it happen

if a thread hasn't been posted in in days and people want an answer, how about reporting a post to bring it to our attention instead of whining for a mod to show up. we can't be here and in every thread in every forum all the time.

when we have information on the issue, we will share it, until then, we're not gonna lie and give false answers to appease people. for those complaining about how amateurish the site is and what not, it's free to post here.

i'm also going to go back through this thread and delete inappropriate posts. who knows, maybe freeing up the space will help the site run smoother and faster

Why are you deleting the whining? We have a good reason to be angry, because none of us have heard anything from the site admins on the issue for weeks. The site reseting/page not loading has been a major issue alot lately.

We cant do much aside from bring it up and keep waiting on whats going on

i didn't delete the ones where people were angry or whiny, we're just as frustrated as you are

i deleted the ones riddled with asterisks masking expletives that did nothing to further the discussion or to show frustration appropriately

I would say fake cursing is the appropriate way of showing frustration. ****, maybe some real cursing too.

EDIT: For the record, I actually did curse because, well ****, that's what auto censor is for. So you have less work to do.

I don't see how "it's free to post here" justifies the constant error messages people keep getting more and more frequently. This site has always been free and it hasn't always been as bad as it has been lately. I don't see what that has to do with anything.

This isn't a small problem, and it isn't going to just go away. I know you are getting frustrated for getting ****ted on as a mod when there isn't much you can do about the problem at this point, but if people are frustrated about these error messages they have every right to be, and it is not them and their "whiny posts" that are the problem.

I've only noticed it the last week as the previous month and half was error free. Something in the last week at the site's server must have changed to make pages not load.

This isn't a small problem, and it isn't going to just go away. I know you are getting frustrated for getting ****ted on as a mod when there isn't much you can do about the problem at this point, but if people are frustrated about these error messages they have every right to be, and it is not them and their "whiny posts" that are the problem.

that was frustration on my part and i apologize for that. i meant it in a way to say that if people weren't happy, they weren't forced to post here. i'm much more calm now that i don't feel like i'm getting attacked for something i have no control over.

it is very frustrating to not know what's going on and as a poster first, moderator second, it's frustrating with the lag, losing posts, double posts etc. add on that the moderator part, the site hold ups when we're trying to fix things etc, its all a pain. moderators don't control or do any of the tech aspects of the site in case anyone was confused on that part. admins are a higher level than us, but they're not tech support either. there are some people who are strictly here for tech and whatnot, and they're trying to come up with a solution

I think to be fair to the mods (shocking, I know) this is really an admin/owner issue. So there's really no need to angry at the mods here, except for when they're just plain *****ebags for no reason. You know who you are.

I've been doing this religiously as of late. Copying what i write before i end up having to type everything all over again.

And seriously, are they even working on this? It took 6 refreshes just to post this.
