It was around this time in 2003 we learned Caine and Holmes were cast in 2003, so hopefully things will ge tstarted soon.

but other then the release date, we aint learned **** since ledgers casting.

Script is pretty much done Ledger said he's read it. It's enough to start work on anyway it'll be adjusted up to the last minute.

You know i'm gunna be honest i like not knowing, i think a little eggs thrown at us by Nolan himself wouldn't suck though, if he gave us 3 names for Dent i would be completley happy with it, because i like talking about it, these boards can get a little dry once all the hype is gone from casting, if he gave us enough names to have competitive bantar about and then tell us who it is once filiming starts or something

Youalso got to remember that since this is a sequel most of the casting is already complete. Yeah, we still need Dent, a mob boss(maybe), penguin (maybe) but the majority of the cast is still intact and considering that most of the news we had gotten by this time for BB was just casting, it's not tht surprising that we don't have that much news, especially with the amped up secrecy on the movie.

I'm not say a version of the script isn't done, but based on Nolan's comments he's not going to think about casting decisions until it's done done.

Don't know if it's true or not, but I know Wikipedia can be unreliable at times with their information. I just read a few minutes ago that in future Batman sequels they want to include Man-Bat.

I've actually come to stop expecting news any time soon. Back when Jett was spouting off "Dent Casting Imminent" and "Big News in Septemeber" i was checking the site every day expecting to hear a big announcment, but after that passed i just gave up hope. I read that too . I think the person who wrote it is confused with the last franchise. If someone at WB had said it recently we'd hear about it in more places.

Then it gets circulated into big online press, then the mainstream press picks it up and become interview questions. The more obnoxiously weird and attention ****ish the rumor, the better.

According to a very trusted insider, Jean-Claude Van Damme is being considered for the role of penguin.

Due to unintended scheduling conflicts Gary Oldman might not return for the role of Jim Gordon. Steven Seagal and Kevin Sorbo's reps are reportedly veying very hard for this role.

Another example, Katie Holmes is purposely packing some weight, her character Rachel Dawes will reportedly be pregnant. The rumor is that she will carry the child of Bruce Wayne. Could it be Robin?

The talented thespian Keanu Reeves' is reportedly pushing his reps to get the role of Two-Face, could The One be Two now?

I happen to think with the media and papparrazzi done with the TomKat wedding hype they will find another thing to obsess over.
On the CNN weekend news I had to listen to it because I heard Batman Begins actress but they were talking about the castle wedding but the poll was interesting because the public voted highly for Katie to start working already. Some Batman fans are ******ed because I saw guys sporting Batman shirts on some Calif.park and asking Katie to sign their toys and autographs. Why not ask for some TDK intel.like her return for the sequel.
When she goes around the U.S. and Europe you can hear the crowd cry out to her as Joey and Rachel Dawes.
Insiders from Extra,Moviehole and Metacritic said scripts have been in for Katie so it will be interesting if TDK is included.
Jada Pinkett Smith said the paps should leave Katie alone and that they're too much. One time Katie and her decided to hang out on the front lobby in Rome and Katie didnt have any bodyguards they were just getting some fresh air but Jada said its creepy because many guys and photographers would stalk her, watch her every move and follow everywhere she goes.
Many would dress in black jackets looking like pulling out a gun or knife but turns out to be a tape recorded and they feel like they will get hurt or get robbed. You can hear reporters now aggressively asking her what are her movies.
As I said above with her married the next media obsession will be stalking her and her child and her next movie projects;she might be forced one of these days to say something if they will keep circling her like sharks.
And you know the media these days are very good detectives like Batman.Or even like the CIA.LOL! They will never stop until they get intel.
But overall I hope SANTA NOLAN will give us something to chew on this Christmas time.
