Alright, look. The reserve thing was my mistake, because I let Byrd Man lay claim to Batman before the application even went up. There, I admit it. And I further added to that mistake when I myself even expressed reserves on, at the time, either James Gordon or Harvey Dent. That mistake led to allowing for reserves by everyone, something I'm not proud of either.

But by the same token, I have to agree with GL that it's illogical for someone to merely say "I'm in" with no certain character in mind. Is it right that they, and myself, lay claim to characters? No, it isn't. And therefore, when it comes to the actual applications, I'm going to say something right now... reserves will become meaningless. Their sole purpose, in this thread, is to establish interest. But when/if the game comes to fruition, they will become obsolete.

What I'm saying is, if you want a character, prepare to take him/her. I'd suggest writing an application in advance, to assure you get who you want. But I'm not going to approve people based on who reserved who. I'm accepting based on whoever made claim first. This even goes for me, so anyone who gets a Jim Gordon app before me will be accepted. I won't be happy, but I won't fight it.
