I've been approved to go back to school to take anything in the IT field for free for the next 2 years. Was wondering if any had some advise on what courses to take? What jobs are hiring and whatnot? I have choices ranging from A+, N+, Microsoft stuff etc to Cisco to Software engineering.

Don't want to waist this opportunity, so any help would be appreciated. :woot:

I'd look at the breakdown of classes and see which classes can benefit you in the short or long term run of your career.

Well, I'm studying Python now, using manuals... according to our employers it's the next "big" thing... a combination of C, Basic, and Java - but apparently takes less space (fewer characters to type).

However, C++ or Java may also be useful.

Grab the newspaper and check the "wanted" ads.
